These terms and conditions are the basis on which Pineapple Park will provide accommodation to guests. By making a booking the guest agrees to comply with these conditions. Guests can request bookings via Pineapple Park website or any third-party OTA on which Pineapple Park is listed. Policies: 1. The maximum length of stay at Kona Beach Hostel is 14 nights. You may be asked to show proof of onward travel. If you would like to request an exception, you may do this by contacting the hostel directly. 3. When requesting bookings, guests will be required to provide personal information including their name, address, phone number, and email address. Hostel staff has the right to reject any guest from checkin-in if the guest's name is different from the name as stated on the reservation. For a booking to be confirmed, the guest must also provide a valid debit or credit card at the time of booking. 4. Any request to change the dates or length of stay of the reservation is subject to availability. 5. When booking multiple beds in a shared room, Pineapple Park will attempt to put people on the same booking in the same room, however, this can not be guaranteed. Group Bookings: 1 Groups consist of 5 or more people. 2. The minimum stay for a group booking is 2 nights. 3. All groups will make a 50% nonrefundable deposit to secure their booking. 4. All groups are subject to a 30 day cancellation policy. Outside of this window, refunds will not be issued for cancellations or reservation changes. 6. If you haven't booked your group directly with us, we can not guarantee all members of your group will be in the same dorm. Fees and Payments: 1. Single-night reservations are subject to a cleaning fee: $9.43 for dorms and $23.62 for private rooms. 2. Unless otherwise agreed on by Kona Beach Hostel, the charges only cover the provision of accommodation at the hostel, and the guest may incur additional charges for rental items, lost keys/locks, laundry, damages resulting from the guest's negligence. Guests will be informed of the amount of additional charges before they incur. 3. Balance must be paid immediately when checking in at the hostel. We accept cash (USD only), most credit cards and debit cards. When checking-in you will be asked to provide us with a valid credit card number as a lock/key deposit. Your card will not be charged unless you fail to return your key. Failure to return your key will result in a charge of $23.62. 4. If you would like to pay the balance of your reservation prior to your arrival, please send a request to info@pinapple-park.com. 5. If you intend to pay for someone else's stay and will not be checking-in to show the payment card, a request needs to be sent in advance to info@pineapple-park.com. Cancellations and No Shows: 1. All cancellations are subject to a $23.62 fee. 2. Cancellations must be made at lease 48 hours prior to check-in for a refund to be issued. 3. Where the guest fails to give sufficient notice of cancellation, the entire reservation will be cancelled and the guest will be charged for the first night plus tax. 4. In case of cancellation, the hostel is not responsible to refund any deposit paid to third-party OTAs. Check-in and Check-out: 1. Check-in time is from 3:00pm / 1500hrs. 2. Valid photo ID (driver's license or passport) is required at check-in. 3. If you arrive early and your room is ready, you can check-in. If your room is not ready early, you can store your luggage until check-in time. 4. Our reception is not open 24/7. Please inform us via phone or email that you will be arriving to the hostel after 9pm / 2100hrs. 5. Late arrivals are subject to a late check-in fee of $23.62 for arrivals between 9:30pm and 12:00am. If you do not inform us of your late arrival you might not be able to check-in. 6. Check-out time is 10:00am / 1000hrs. 7. Luggage can be store after check-out until 7:00pm / 1900hrs for a fee. 8. Failure to check-out by 10:00am / 1000hrs may result in the guest being charged for an additional night's accommodation at the standard applicable rate. Age Restrictions: 1. Guests within the ages of 18-65 are eligible to stay on the property. Hostel Rules: 1. Somking/vaping is not permitted inside the hostel or in hostel common areas. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area. 2. In the event of damaged property caused by guest's negligence, the guest may be liable for Kona Beach Hostel's reasonable cost of repairing, cleaning, or replacing damaged property. 3. Guests must act in a reasonable and responsible manner and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. 5. Any guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety, or security of other guests and staff will be asked to leave the hostel premises without refund. 6. Sharing of dorm beds is not allowed. Each guest must book and pay for a bed. 7. Drug use is illegal in Hawaii, including marijuana. Any guest found using drugs on our premises will be asked to leave immediately without refund. 8. Each bed in dorm rooms has a personal locker for valuables. The guest is responsible for ensuring that their personal belongings are secure at all times. Kona Beach Hostel takes no responsibility for the guest's damaged, lost, or stolen items. 9. Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 7:00am. Please be mindful of neighbors and guests and keep noise at a minimum during quiet hours. 10. No outside guests are allowed on hostel premises. 11. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in guests being asked to leave the hostel in which event all additional charges shall become immediately payable by the guests.
