The Yard is a boutique hostel in the heart of Helsinki and Best Hostel in Finland years 2018, 2019 and 2020 by Hostelworld. We are independent, locally run hostel with wide smiles - right in the heart of Helsinki. Our goal is to make everyone walk through our doors fall in love with Helsinki by helping them get the best possible experience of our Nordic Capital. You’ll feel right at home in our relaxed and cool ambience.
We are a hostel with both private rooms and dorms. All our dorm beds have privacy curtains and outlets. Our large lounge is great for hanging out with your friends or making new ones. Plus free Wi-Fi for all and lots of real plants to keep the air fresh. Our kitchen is well equipped for you to prepare your own meals.
So come and enjoy our hospitality. We are located just a five minute walk from Helsinki Central Railway Station, on a street that is bubbling with bars, restaurants, shops and sights. Luckily our strong stone building circa 1907 keeps the noise outside and you can chill in a relaxed ambience in-between exploring the city. Famous department store Stockmann and shopping center Forum are just next door.

On standard rates free modification and cancellation up until 3 days prior to arrival date after which full amount will be charged. Non-refundable rates will be charged during booking and can not be cancelled or modified. All charges are non-refundable.

Groups Conditions
Bookings for 6 or more people are considered group reservations even if reserved separately. Promotions are not applicable for groups, please ask for offer directly from hostel.
Payment: 25 % deposit upon reservation. Remaining amount to be charged 30 days prior to arrival. All charges are non-refundable. Group bookings can not be cancelled or modified with refund.
