Change or cancellation of reservations:
I - In the event of a change in a reservation,VILLA METISSE shall not reimburse the amount of the value of all the daily rates deposited to its account.
This balance (if any) shall be available as credit for 6 months, maximum, from the date any such change is requested to be made.
II - The request for change in reservation dates shall be subject to confirmation by the reservation department.
IMPORTANT: Changes will be allowed only if requested up to 15 days before the check in date. After this deadline, it will be considered NO SHOW with a penalty referred to 100% of the amount paid.
*For holidays and special dates such as New Year, Carnival and long holidays the change of reservation will be verified and allowed within 60 days before the check-in date.
The following conditions apply to cancellation of reservations:
• Cancellation with 45 days or more before the check-in date: it will be charged a penalty of 10% of the total amount.
• Cancellation with 30 days before the check-in date: It will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total amount.
• Cancellation with less than 30 days prior to check-in, or "no show": It will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total amount.
For holidays, groups and special dates, the cancellation policy is:
• Cancellation with 60 days or more before the check-in date: it will be charged a penalty of 10% of the total amount.
• Cancellation within 59 to 45 days before the check-in date: It will be charged a penalty of 50% of the total amount.
• Cancellation with less than 45 days prior to check-in, or "no show": It will be charged a penalty of 100% of the total amount.
The cancellation policy is valid for the purchase of all services, including transfers.
If the cancellation of the reservation is requested for medical reasons, the guest must submit to the reservations department the medical certificate proving the impossibility of travel.
Only after the approval from the reservations department, the hotel will confirm the cancellation without penalty. This paid amount will remain for a future stay in our hotel.
