In June 2017, the magnificent hotel with its building reborn outstanding in Koror speaks out loud its legacy.

This renovated building also reveals the concordance of the modern architecture with the traditional elements of Palau. For instance, the Bai, a typical Palau architecture, is perfectly set on the roof of Palau Hotel. Also, this wonderful integration has activated Palau timber industry, when the Palau mahogany was used as one of hotel building materials.In addition, The Palau hotel takes this Rock Island and crystal ocean as the theme color, green and blue, spread the hotel as a whole. We hope not only to inlet the new concepts into Palau, but also to merge them with “traditional Palau culture and pristine nature”. Therefore, the solar system is used throughout the hotel. The shower gels and shampoos are all organic and provided in natural formula.

We reserve theright to increase or decrease the prices of accommodation at any time. Theprice of your stay will be confirmed by us at the time of booking. Pricesinclude and HRT for a maximum of 3 guests per room which includes the following:electricity, linen, cleaning, hot water, a TV, free WIFI in lobby,complimentary toiletries.

Cancellation Policy
All confirmedreservations not cancelled at least three days prior to arrival (defined as 4:00 pmlocal time day prior) will be the responsibility of the traveler. Cancellationsreceived within the 72-hour period or a “no show” will incur onenight’s room and tax charge to be assessed to the credit card on file. Pleaseprovide notice of cancellation before 4:00 pm the day prior to arrival to avoida penalty of one night’s room & tax 

A refundable deposit ($
50) of the first night on booking.
Thedeposit should be made by cash. We do not accept checks, credit or debit card.We will refund all the money after check-out if there is no damage or loss inthe room.
 

Non-availability of AccommodationWe will only cancel your holiday if youraccommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control.We will however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation.If this is not possible, or unacceptable to you, we will refund all money paid by you for the holiday.Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.  

Arrival/Check-in

Check in time atthe Palau Hotel starts at 3pm. If your party happens toarrive earlier, and the room is not available at the time of arrival, our Frontdesk will be happy to store your bags so you can enjoy your day.  

Departure

Please be readyto leave the accommodation by 11:30amon the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will provide you with an invoice, payable ondeparture for any additional services you may have used duringyour stay. VisitorsIf you havefriends, relatives or colleagues coming to the hotel, we should be grateful ifyou would kindly inform us ahead of their arrival. For the same reason, weshould ask that they leave the hotel by 11pm. Guests will be fully responsiblefor the conduct of anyone theychoose to bring into the house as far as any liability and damages areconcerned and, therefore, incur any cost.

Damagesand Breakages
Please enjoy yourstay but please take care when staying at our hotel, Palau Hotel.Guests areresponsible for leaving rooms in the condition they were in upon arriving. The guests are responsible andliable for any breakages or damages to the accommodation or its contents forirreversible staining or damage from, for example, bleach, cigarette burns,food dyes, hair dye, ink, vomit and waterproof mascara. Guests will be requiredto pay for any loss or damage to furniture or equipment provided in theaccommodation. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We donot normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice forrepair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. We may make an additional charge of $100 if you do not report this.  

Keys
Guests will beissued with a bedroom door key on check-in. One set of keys will be issued perroom. We are afraid that we are unable to issue additional sets. Lost orfailure to return keys and fobs will be charged at $ 100to cover the cost of replacing the securitykeys and brass engraved fobs. 

No
n-Smoking
PalauHotel has a strict no smoking policy. Wewould kindly ask that there is no smoking inside the rooms andbalconies. Noncompliance with the no smoking policycarries a penalty charge of $100.00 to cover the cost of extra cleaning and the resulting delayincurred in re-letting the room. We reserve the right to add this cost to aguest’saccount after departure. In addition, any breach of this policy will result inthe immediate termination of the stay and no refund will be given for theduration of the booking.  

AlcoholPolicy

Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 21 years or older(with valid identification) and is not permitted in public areas of the hotel. We will not accept unreasonable behaviorresulting from excess alcohol consuming.Any breach of this policy will result in the immediate termination of the stayand no refund will be given for the duration of the booking. 

Useof Candles
We kindly request that owing to the increasedfire risk posed by the use of candles that no candles be used in the house. 

FoodPolicy

We respectfullyask that guests do notbring food or drink, especially takeaways,into the rooms. Underno circumstances will we accept take-away delivered to the room. We would remind guests that we reserve the right to charge you forany repair, replacement or purchase of new items for damage caused. Thereplacement value or dry cleaning costs for all linen, upholstery and carpetsthat are irreversibly stained will be charged for. Guests are required to report to us immediately with details ofany damage done to the property or any of the furniture, fixtures, fittings andeffects to enable replacement to be arranged. 

Noise/DisturbancePolicy
 
Guests come to usprimarily to sleep and to rest and for these reasons we always ask that noiselevels are kept to a minimum, especially after 10pm with regards to TVs, raisedvoices, and door shutting etc. This policyhelps us to make sure everyone's stay is enjoyable. We reserve the right toterminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund orcompensation as you engage in unacceptable behavior thatcauses a disturbance or nuisance to other guests. Guests should therefore beaware of the possibility other guests causing some disturbance, and vice versa. We thus askthat all guests show consideration to their fellow guests. 

CarParking

There is a free on-site parking for guests. We ask guestskindly to observe the parking signs in the car park and park considerately atthe side of the Hotel to ensure there is adequate space for everyone. Pleasenote that cars are parked at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility forany loss of or theft from a vehicle however it is caused. 

Childrenand Pets

We welcomewell-behaved children at this property subject to certain conditions and incertain designated bedrooms. Children must be supervised at all times and no childmust be left unsupervised. We regret we are unable to accept pets into theguest house. 

ItemsLeft Behind

We can accept noresponsibility for items left behind after you have departed. Small items leftbehind can be returned to you by post. A $20 handling charge plus the cost ofpostage will be charged. Larger items will incur a higher handling cost. Anyunclaimed items of property will be disposed of after 4 weeks.
