On the corner of Huntting Lane and Main Street, the historic Huntting Inn is one of the oldest buildings in East Hampton – selected by National Geographic as The Most Beautiful Village in America – as well as a landmark belonging to the village’s celebrated Main Street Historic District. Originally built in 1699 for Reverend Nathaniel Huntting and his family, the Inn was purchased in 1980 by the Palm Restaurant Group, who continue to own and operate both the Inn and its storied Palm Restaurant.

The serenity and comfort of the Huntting Inn make it the perfect country retreat any time of year. Inn guests enjoy the same warm welcome and hospitality for which the family of Palm Restaurants across the country has been known for over 90 years. While each room is uniquely appointed and has its own special ambiance, all overnight guests receive a complimentary continental breakfast, complimentary beach passes, and access to the Inn’s inviting Lounge with fireplace, garden patio, and free parking. Local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and beaches are easily accessible on foot.

The guest willbe charged a prepayment of the first night or 50%, whichever islarger.
The guest will be forfeit the deposit paid if the reservation iscancelled starting at 30 days prior to arrival.
Total price for reservationwill be charged if cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival.   

For HolidayWeekends (4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Columbus Day Weekend)

Prepayment ofthe first night or 50%, whichever is larger. 
The guest will be forfeitthe deposit paid if the reservation is cancelled starting at 30 days prior toarrival.
Full amount of reservation is due if cancelled inside 30 days prior toarrival. 

Low season(Between October 1st - April 30th)

The guest willbe charged a prepayment of the first night or 50%, whichever islarger.
The guest will be forfeit the deposit paid if the reservation iscancelled starting at 14 days prior to arrival.
Guest is eligible for freecancellation prior to 14 days before arrival.
Terms and Conditions

Rates include:
Continental breakfast, common-area WiFi, Optimum Hot Spot, beach passes, beach towels and beach chairs. Certain rooms have refrigerators available at an additional charge. All rates are subject to a $10 per day service fee and 14.125% tax. Rates are based on double occupancy. Additional person(s) are $50 per person. Rollaways and cribs are $50 per night.


A minimum of a one night stay or 50% of total stay amount, whichever is greater will be taken to guarantee a reservation.

Group Reservations:
Four or more rooms will be considered a group reservation. Please call for deposit and cancellation policy.

Holiday Weekend Restrictions:
April, May, June, September and October: two-night minimum (based on availability)
Memorial Day Weekend, July and August: three-night minimum 
(based on availability)
4th of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day Weekend and Film Festival Weekend: four-night minimum 
(based on availability)
Restrictions are always subject to change based on demand and availability.

The Huntting Inn is a non-smoking establishment. If a room is found to have been smoked in, the guest will be charged an additional night fee for the cost of returning the room to a non-smoking status.

Pet Policy:
We are a dog-friendly hotel and welcome dogs that weigh 25 pounds or less with a one-time, non-refundable $150 pet cleaning fee.
