Property and Cancellation Policies :
In the event you must cancel or modify your room reservation, the cancellation request must be received 15 days prior to your arrival date (21 or more days for Advance Reservations made in prior season). If your cancellation is received appropriately, your deposit will be refunded less a $30 fee for cost incurred ($40 for Advance Reservations). If 14 or less days is given (20 for Advance), your deposit will not be refunded. Shortened reservations may be subject to cancellation fees and are subject to minimum stay requirements. No-Shows may be charged for the full length of their stay. Due to the small size of our motel, cancellations greatly affect our business therefore we strictly adhere to our cancellation policy. When we guarantee an accommodation we enter into a contract and we lose the opportunity to reserve the room to others. We appreciate your understanding. We will provide updates on our website to the Maine Travel Restrictions as we receive them. We anticipate the below Maine Travel Requirements will be changing over the next several months.
Effective November 16, 2020, Reservations are permitted to ME, VT & VT Residents or essential workers without restrictions and do not need to quarantine or get testing.
Out of state residents who are not ME, NH or VT residents must meet ONE of the three of the following requirements and will be required to sign a compliance form at checkin (your compliance is the honor system, per HIPPA we do NOT need to see COVID19 test):
Agree to quarantine for the duration of their stay or up to 10 days in Maine
Have already quarantined in Maine for 10 days
Have had a positive molecular test in the past 90 days and have completed their quarantine
Wells Beach is open to all activities starting May 26, 2020.
Per Governor Mills, social distancing and face masks are required.
In the even you are have symptoms of COVID19 on checkin day you will be asked to cancel your reservation. Symptoms include fever, shortness of breath, sore throat and loss of taste or small. The cancellation policy will still apply and you will forfeit your deposit.
Please understand that the pandemic has greatly affected all areas of Maine's hospitality industry. In the event that you must cancel your reservation due to your own personal situation, or a restriction coming from your resident state's governor, the cancellation policy will still be in effect. If you are a Vermont Resident, or a resident of any state that has travel restrictions for it's residents, we strongly suggest you review those guidelines and understand the implications imposed which may affect your ability to travel as cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival with forfeit the deposit.
Please be aware that mandates affecting the hospitality industry in Maine are changing daily. As a result, we must abide by local and state government requirements. In the event of mandatory shut down by either the local or state government, we will notify affected guests by e-mail. It is our intention to have the pool, beach and all facilities open for the 2021 season, however, please understand this is all subject to change based on CDC and goverment requirements which are beyond our control. Per Governor Mills, daily housekeeping will be limited. We will not be issuing refunds in the event the government mandates the ceasement of services. The cancellation policy will be enforced. Please understand that cancellations greatly affect our business, especially in light of the COVID19 Pandemic. If you or your family are not comfortable retaining your reservation, please give the courtesy of advance notice so we have the best opportunity to rerent your full stay. Last minute cancellations are difficult to re-rent in full. We appreciate your support and understanding. Please reach out to use in the meantime if you have questions or concerns. Thank you!
Rates
All rates are based on above confirmed number of guests. Additional guests are $15 per night. Special rates may be subject to minimum stay requirements. Balance is due upon arrival by cash, travelers check, money order or credit card. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks for final payment.
Please check your arrival and departure dates carefully. You will be charged for the full number of nights you have reserved. No refunds will be given on early departures.
Parking
Your room and parking space will be ready for check-in AFTER 2:00pm on the date of your arrival. Due to limited parking, only 1 car is permitted per room. Small-mid size cars recommended as parking is tight. Garage has a 7'6" clearance.
Non-Smoking
All of our guest rooms, balconies and facilities are non-smoking (smoking of tabacco, marijuana or vaping is prohibited). Smoking of tabacco only is permitted in designated outside smoking area only.
Check-In/Check-Out
Check-In is anytime AFTER 2:00. All check-ins must arrive by 9:00pm (10:00pm Friday and Saturday's and 10:00pm July thru August) unless special arrangements have been made. Check-out time is by 11:00am. Sorry, we cannot accommodate late check-outs or extended parking.
Office Hours
Our office is available from 8am to 9pm daily (10:00pm Friday and Saturday's and 10:00pm July thru August). Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am, please be respectful of our other guests. Automated telephone attendants are available to transfer calls after 10pm, if you know your party’s three-digit extension.
No Elevators
Please be aware our guest rooms and pool area require 1-2 full flights of stairs depending on location (with the exception of Oceanfront Ground-Level rooms which require only 1 step into hallway). Sorry, we do not have elevators.
Ocean Views
Only Oceanfront rooms have ocean views. Suites & Poolside rooms overlook to the pool area & walkway and do not have a balcony. Oceanfront Ground-Level rooms have a direct ocean view, but do not have a balcony or patio (they have a picture window overlooking the water).
Additional Policies
Due to the limited size of our facility and out of respect of our paying guests, only registered guests are allowed to use our motel facilities. No unregistered guests are allowed. Sorry, we do not allow pets. Disregard of these policies may result in your being escorted off the property without refund.
