Guesthouse Bianca is one of the only places in all of Rio de Janeiro from which you can enjoy a true bohemian neighborhood, the bustling city center, the infamous viewpoints, and the non stop Lapa's nightlife - all from the luxury of a private home surrounded by a tropical garden. The newly renovated home was built in 1932 and is located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Santa Teresa, considered by many to be the most charming cultural and historical neighborhood in all of Rio. Guests are only a 5 minute walk to countless restaurants, bars, shops, bus and tram stops, and just a 10 minute walk to Rio’s ever expanding metro system.
The three rooms are exquisitely appointed and furnished, two of which boast stunning views of the Bay of Guanabara and Sugar Loaf. The guest entrance is through the lush garden, where you can find mango, coconut and goiaba trees, bromeliads, orchids, not to mention countless tropical birds and the occasional monkey. All of the rooms have elegant private bathrooms, inlaid hardwood floors, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and free wireless Internet. All bedrooms are located on the second floor. Access by stairs only.
Guesthouse Bianca’s gracious host, Guido, is a native Cariocan and has lived in Rio all his life. He speaks English, French and Italian and is always available to give tips on Rio.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
Booking Cancellation Policy** — All room reservations must be canceled or changed a minimum of 15 days in advance of your arrival date;
There are no cancellations or changes (early departure or less room nights) 14 days or less of your arrival date.
For Cancellations made 15 days or more of your arrival we will refund your payment less bank charges.
Within 14 days of your arrival there are no cancellations or changes for special bookings as your deposit is non-refundable.
** For special holidays or events (Christmas, New Years, Carnival, bookings of two (2) or more rooms or stays of seven (7) or more nights), please review our special cancellation policy.

For Cancellations made 31 days or more of your arrival we will refund your payment less bank charges.
Within 30 days of your arrival there are no cancellations or changes for special bookings as your deposit is non-refundable.
No Show - No show is considered when the guest does not arrive on the expected arrival day. The room will be held until 12AM the following morning at which time the reservation will be considered as cancelled if no contact has been made by the guest and the full balance will be due.
Terms and Conditions
50% Payment is due within 2 days of the initial room reservation by bank wire transfer.
Arrival Time — We request your flight details or an arrival time here at Guesthouse Bianca at least 48 hours prior to your arrival in order to be ready to greet you at the Guesthouse and open the gate for you. Please let us know if your estimated arrival time changes. Guesthouse Bianca allows guest arrivals between the hours of 06:00 and 22:00.
Guest Names — We request the full names of ALL reserved guests at least 48 hours PRIOR to your arrival.
Room Rates & Currency — Prices are quoted in Brazilian Reais for single or double occupancy and payment in cash. An additional bed is plus 25% per night and can be added to either the Master Suite or to the Mango Tree room. Prices includes breakfast, wi-fi and all taxes.
Payment — We accept only cash or bank transfer as payment for your stay. Payment is accepted in Brazilian Reals (BRL - local currency).
Breakfast — Breakfast is served on the veranda by the garden or in our dining room from 8:00 to 10:00AM.
Room Cleaning — Bedrooms are cleaned daily between 11:00AM and 2:00PM.
If you have a mobility issue, Guesthouse Bianca is not ideal.
Smoking — Smoking is allowed only at our outdoor areas (except at the breakfast area).
Guests — No outside guests are allowed.
Keys — One set of keys is provided for each room.
If the keys are lost, a charge of R$100 (BRL) will be placed on your guest statement for replacement, no exceptions.
