Originally built in 1831, Madame Isabelle’s House is located in the Marigny Triangle, only a block away from the infamous French Quarter and right in the heart of New Orleans. Offering intimate experience of what it’s like to live in a quintessential New Orleans home, Madame Isabelle’s House will transport you back in time without depriving you of modern luxuries. Madame Isabelle’s family moved onto the property in the early 1900. Her family expanded and decorated the house before her father bequeathed it to her. Madame Isabelle and her husband continued to renovate the house until they left the city in 2002. The house is tastefully ornamented and furnished, staying faithful to the architectural characteristics typical of old New Orleans houses in this area. As we are proud of every single detail that makes this house special, we encourage you to enjoy every part of it as well and to feel at home for the duration of your stay. Dormitory rooms as well as private rooms are available. There are two and three person private rooms in the house. Almost all of our private rooms are equipped with a cable TV, a refrigerator, and a private bathroom. All beds are equipped with new, 8-inch mattresses and brand-new linens; however, you may not want to stay in your room long because the hidden courtyard garden awaits you, replete with an outdoor deck and a Jacuzzi hot tub. Once you venture out the house, a vibrant neighborhood welcomes you. Delicious restaurants and local bars share the streets with Creole cottages and shotgun houses. Though set in a quiet area, thriving nightlife is easily accessible from Madame Isabelle’s House: Frenchmen Street is only five minutes away by foot, Bourbon Street is within ten minutes walking distance, and Canal Street, which connects you to Mid-City and Uptown, fifteen minutes away by foot.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
- For Standard Rate Reservation : If the reservation is cancelled before 14 days of your arrival, there will not be cancellation fee. The non-refundable deposit that is equivalent to the first night will be taken on 14 days before your arrival date.
- For a Non-Refundable Rate : The total balance will be taken once a reservation is made. Once the balance is paid, the amount is not refundable even though the reservation is cancelled.
- Please send us an email to misabellenola@gmail.com for cancellation of your reservation. We do not take a cancellation request by the phone call.
- For the reservations during special events such as Mardi Gras, Jazz Festival or any other special event periods, it will be 30 days cancellation before guests' arrival date. For the standard rate reservation, the first night will be charged as a non-refundable deposit.
