Cabarita Lookout Villa

VILLA GUIDELINES:

VillaGuidelines are as followed: 

 Transportation: 

  Included: 

• Airport pick up and drop off (ONE TRIP ONLY) is included in reservation. 

• A driver isavailable at reasonable hours. Please get with Mr. Cutty (Toyota Hiace Vancomfortably seats 8 passengers plus the driver f or excursions, 6  passengers with luggage) 

• Fuel for airporttransportation is (ONLY) included.   

**Additional Trips to the airport will NOT be made by our driver. Any guestscoming in at different times must schedule shuttle service for an additionalcost of 30.00payable to tourwise travel. Payable at time of service. Drop off andPick up shuttle stop location is about 10 min from the villa and our driverwill pick or drop you off for service. **

 Food and Meals: 

 • Breakfast and theevening meal (dinner/supper) will be “prepared”for guests each day.  
   Of course, for the chef or barbequeenthusiast, please feel free to enjoy our fully equipped kitchen and outdoorgrill whenever you choose.  

 • “IncludedWelcome Meal”: If you arrive early in the afternoon, your villacook will prepare a dinner for your arrival; if you arrive later in the day,you may want to stop for a meal, on the way to the villa.

We suggest ifyou are hungry after your travels a local family tradition spot called “DownSouth” close to Montego Bay airport.  Uncle Seuy’s Jamaican shack restaurant hasbeen a must stop for our family for over 60 years. Down South backs up to the seaoff of the old road in Montego Bay. Sit at hand made tables and benches andenjoy the delightful taste of fresh fish, conch or Uncle Seuys fried chickenwith special sauce. Enjoy, looking into the bordering Carrabin Sea to seebeautiful colors of tropical fish or maybe evenhave the opportunity to see Uncle Seuys building handmade fish traps at hisfavorite bench.

The Pelican in Montego Bay is also another spot if you’rehungry on arrival that is also nice to eat at.  If you can wait for an hour we also suggestScotchie’s in Ocho Rios. This cute spot has terrific jerk chicken, pork and anice garden area for sitting. 

For your fist breakfast, thevilla is stocked with basic food and ingredients for your first breakfast.  You fist breakfast will be prepared and servedaround 9am at the main table or on the veranda.

 All further meal items are theresponsibility of the guests. Sharon, your cook will be happy to sit with youto help you plan out a menu for the week and will be happy to go shopping foryou or tag along on your adventure of grocery shopping in Jamaica.   

• After the “WelcomeMeals”, food, drinks and alcohol choices are the guests’ cost responsibility.    

Daily Housekeeping:

Sharonand Ann Marie, your housekeepers/cook, will make the beds, sweep the floors, cleanthe bathrooms, and wash the dishes. If you prefer to take care of any ofthese things yourself while during your stay just tell Sharon. 

Towels, Sheets and Laundry: 

St.Mary’s Parish Council is urging water conservation in order to protect thenatural resources of Jamaica.  Onlybedding, towels and limited personal items found in the hampers will be washed. Limited ironing is available upon request.
Please use the beachtowels (ONLY) provided for pool and beach use. In order to preserve the villa’sfluffy white bathroom towels, please do NOT use the bath towels at the beach orin the pool area.  

 Smoking:   

Are  ONLY allowed in the pool area or veranda.  Smoking inside the villa is NOTallowed at ANYTIME anywhere in the home.    

Swimming Pool and Villa Safety: Thereis NO lifeguard at Cabarita Lookout.All swimming, water sports and any and all other activities on the house grounds or on excursions are at yourown risk. (NO DIVING PLEASE).

Please accompany children in the swimming area at ALL TIMES for their safety.

Cell Phone: 

A cellphone is available for use during your stay.  “Digicel” phone cards areavailable for purchase at most grocery stores, gas stations, and manyATMs.  Unlimited long distance phone cards are also available at a reasonableprice.  A replacement fee of $300 will be applicable if the cell phone islost or not returned after your stay.  

Valuables: 

A roomsafe is located in the closet of each bedroom for your convenience. Cabarita Lookout is NOT responsible forany loss or damage to guests’ personal items. 

Pets:

At No time are pets allowedto be brought onto the property. Due to the fact that there are pets onproperty. Zeko our villa dog and a few chickens roam the grounds freely.  Renting the villa, you and your guests areaware and comfortable with these animals being around the property.  

Liability Waiver:   

Inconsideration of being allowed to access and stay at Cabarita Lookout and useits vehicle and driver, on behalf of myself and all guests, I release,covenant not to sue and forever discharge Cabarita Lookout, of all its agentsand related parties, and Anna and Rohan Kissoonlal from any and all liability,claims, liens, actions or causes of action of any nature whatsoeverarising out of any damage, loss or injury (including death) tomyself and my property and the other guests and their property whilestaying at Cabarita Lookout regardless of the cause(s) of such loss,injury (including death) or damage. 

Iunderstand that any access to Cabarita Lookout has risks, including, but notlimited to, injury (including death) as a result, direct or indirect, ofactivities that may occur at or are related to Cabarita Lookout, including butnot limited to swimming, driving, or other activities.  I know andunderstand the risks and dangerinherent in these activities.  I voluntarily assume all risks of injury tomy person and the other guests that accompany me (including death) andproperty, and the persons and property of all guests, that may be sustained. 

My and the other guests’ access to the property is voluntary and Iand the other guests are in both physical and mental good condition.

Read, Understood, and Agreed

I have read and understand the Cabarita Lookout Villa Guidelines and understand that this is a legally binding document. I understand that I, as signing and accepting party,am agreeing  for myself, family and friends, all who are staying at Cabarita LookoutVilla.
