This boutique accommodation lodge is best suited to leisure tourists.
Valid photo ID and credit card in the guest name is required to check in.

Our Reception & Tours office is open from 1pm - 7pm
If you arrive outside these hours the entrance will be locked. Please advise us and we can prepare an early/late check in for you, subject to availabillity.
Booking & Payment Policies:-Full payment is required at time of booking to secure your reservation.
-Changes or additional nights booked upon arrival can be paid for by MasterCard or Visa at the property. Please note a surcharge is applicable on all card transactions.
-Once checked-in, your reservation is non-refundable.
-All taxes are included within the room rate.
-You must present a valid photo ID either passport or driver's license at check-in in the name of your booking, failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking.
Please note that Mackay Adventure will require a valid credit card (VISA, MasterCard) in the name of the guest, on arrival to cover any incidental charges up to $200, we may charge this up to 24 hours after check out. There is a 2.5% surcharge is applicable to card payments.
Smoking & Vaping: This is a strictly non-smoking & non-vaping property. In the event your room triggers a fire alarm, you will be instantly charged $800 for the fire technician call out fee.
Travelling with minors: Guests under the age of 18 are only accepted when travelling with a parent or legal guardian staying in the same room.
Cancellation Policies: In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 48 hours of your arrival you will forfeit 1 night's rate per person, this is non-refundable. You can date change complimentary but this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your original booking arrival date. -Any changes to your reservation must be agreed with the property prior to checking in.-If you do not arrive for your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.
Parking: We have free access to the wake park carpark which is available for guests. It is a 50metre pathway distance to the lodge. Mackay Adventure Lodge, takes no responsibility for vehicles left in the car park.
Hotel Events: Mackay Adventure Lodge is located right on the lakeside of the wakeboarding park. Sporting and music events are held there from time to time but noise is always minimised after 10pm. Major events annually held there include Rumble on the Reef in September school holidays in the last two weeks of September.
Alcohol: There ia licensed bar at the wake park, and so you may not consume your own alcohol in the property at any time. Failure to comply to this will result in immediate removal from the property.
House Rules:
Mackay Adventure Lodge has house rules that guests must abide by during your stay with us. Failure to comply with these rules may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund, further penalties may also apply. Below are our current house rules however please note that they are subject to change at any time and without prior notice. A current list will be available to you on check-in. 1. No BYO alcohol into the property.
2. Guests of Lodge patrons are not allowed in to the Lodge at anytime without express permission of on site-managers.
3. Illicit drugs are not allowed anywhere within the Lodge or carpark property.
4. We have a zero tolerance for abuse of any kind. Verbal, physical and or sexual abuse will not be tolerated and the authorities will be contacted.
5. This is a non-smoking property. Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere in or on the property including all guest rooms and the car park. Fire alarms triggered falsely but attempting to remove alarms, vaping or smoking in rooms, will incur an $800 call out fee.
6. No more than the number of guests booked to stay per room are allowed in the Lodge/room at any time.
7. Please only consume food in the shared kitchen, lounge and outdoor areas. Keeping food out of rooms is preferred for good pest control.
