You will find our house in the historic centre of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, in a quiet area. La Asomada del Gato is 350 meters from private pay parking, 7 minutes by car from Tenerife North Airport, 15 minutes from Santa Cruz, 20 minutes from La Laguna´s coast (Bajamar and La Punta de Hidalgo) and 25 minutes from the Anaga Rural Park. Still, two minutes walk from everything you may need: visit emblematic buildings, have a coffee, eat in many of its small establishments and enjoy a quiet walk.
Our house is familiar and cosy, with large areas where you can be and relax. It occupies a protected building with a central courtyard. The rooms are classic in style and face the main square where the palm tree is. They have air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, WiFi and a private bathroom.
San Cristóbal de La Laguna is the city where you will want to live. It is big enough to discover something new every day and small enough to be quiet and enjoy a city designed for walking. If I had to describe it in just three words, it would be welcoming, lively and cultural.

Late Check-out Fees: €25.00
Late check-out (after 11:30 AM and before 4:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
- We can proceed to charge 100% of your first night at the time of making your reservation as a concept of "deposit".
- In the event of a cancellation, the following policy applies:
- Cancellations must be made at least seven days before the arrival date. Any cancellations made before this time will not incur any charges.
- If the booking is cancelled later or in the case of a no-show, the total balance of the first night's stay will be charged.
- Reservations made within 48 hours before arrival will be charged in full without possible cancellation.
Terms and Conditions
- Rooms Rates: All room rates are per room per night & include full continental breakfast. All rates are inclusive of IGIC. Room rates are subject to change.
- Bookings: Can book rooms online with a valid debit or credit card. Payment is made directly at our house; the card guarantees the reservation and collects the deposit.
We accept bank transfers as long as proof of your bank transfer is sent to us within the first 48 hours. Your booking confirmation will be sent by email subject to you providing us with a valid email address.
The total of your stay and additional charges will be charged at check-in or check out or following our cancellation policy (see below). We accept all major credit and debit cards.
"Early check-in" and "Late check-out" will be possible as long as you notify us in advance and the assigned room is available. We may charge a supplement for late check-out after 1:00 p.m. You will be charged an extra 15 euros until 2:00 p.m., and 25 euros until 4:00 p.m.
→ Our house does not have 24-hour reception, so you conveniently contact us to confirm your arrival time.
- Smoking policy: All rooms are NON-SMOKING with the commitment to provide our guests and staff with a clean environment, free of smoke and tobacco residues. We want to ensure and preserve a 100% smoke-free environment in all our closed spaces (rooms, lounges and common areas), for which we ask for your collaboration. If you want to smoke, we put at your disposal the exterior spaces outdoors.
→ Violation of this rule may incur a charge to your account of 250€ for sanitation and cleaning your room if we detect this violation.
→ In addition to being a potential danger to your health, smoke and cigarette butts also pollute the environment. Your cooperation is sought while respecting our policy, keeping our house as healthy and safe as possible. - Dogs: We welcome small dogs (8 kg maximum) in our rooms and the dining area. We won't charge you any fee for your pet stay; however, as your pet owner and registered guest, you will be responsible for any additional costs for deep cleaning, repair and replacement of damaged items caused by your pet.
- Bags & clothes: To facilitate the cleaning, we suggest you place your clothes and other belongings inside the closet, on the chair or in your suitcase on the furniture you will find next to the cabinet.
- Light: If you are in the room during the day, open the curtains to take advantage of natural light instead of artificial light. Don't forget to turn off the light when you go out.
- Air conditioning & Heating: Ensure the windows and the door are closed if you are going to use the air conditioning or heating.
- Towels & Sheets: For extended stays, the change of sheets will be made every 3 days and the towels daily.
- Breakfast: The breakfast service hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday and from 8.30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays. If, for any reason, you need to advance or delay the schedule by half an hour, please let us know in advance. To guarantee your safety and that of the rest of our guests, we serve breakfast on time to respect the safety distance and by regional capacity regulations. Using the mask is mandatory for access and stay in the room, except for the moments of ingestion of food and drink.
→ In case of allergy to any food, if you follow some diet or are vegan or vegetarian, we can adapt our breakfast on request.
