We are one of the true beach locations in San Diego. Family owned and operated since 1948, we invite you to stay with us and enjoy a relaxing vacation on the Beach. Our accommodations include one and two bedroom Cottages and Apartments, Studios, Suites and Motel Rooms. All rooms are furnished with telephones, cable TV, coffee makers, microwaves, refrigerators, towels and linens. All except the motel rooms have fully equipped kitchens including dishes, pots, pans, and flatware. Unfortunately we do not have air conditioning in any of our accommodations. There are laundry facilities on the premises.
Our patio areas are amply furnished with tables, chairs, lounges and umbrellas for your comfort and convenience. We offer barbecues, shuffleboard and ping pong for your enjoyment. We are only steps away from the Pacific Ocean where you can enjoy sunbathing, beach-walking, swimming, surfing, and fabulous Pacific Ocean sunsets. You may even get lucky enough to catch a rare glimpse of the phenomenon known as the green flash!
The Beach Cottages is centrally located. We are within walking distance of many fine shops, restaurants, galleries, stores, banks and a new local library. Golf and tennis facilities, boating and sailing marinas, Belmont Amusement Park, and volleyball courts are all nearby. Walk, bike or skate on the “Boardwalk” which extends over 1 1/2 miles south from The Beach Cottages to the Mission Bay breakwater. Property and Cancelation Policies :
I. Direct Bookings:
A. Reservations booked six(6) months or more in advance require a cancellation with 30 days notice to the arrival date.
B. Reservations booked between 30 and 180 days prior to arrival require a cancellation with 7 days notice to the arrival date.
C. Reservations made up to 30 days prior to arrival require a cancellation with 48 hours notice to the arrival date.
D. Cancellations for Direct Bookings may only be processed over the phone.
II. On-line Travel Booking Agents (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.):
A. Reservations booked through OTA's require a cancellation with 72 hours (3 days) notice to the arrival date. Reservations made via an OTA must be cancelled directly through that OTA (Expedia, Booking.com, Hotels.com, etc.).
Terms and Conditions
Reservation is not guaranteed until deposit is received. Reservations guaranteed with credit cards or advance deposits are held through the night of arrival only. Only the reservation holder will be allowed to register and receive keys for a room. The reservation holder must have valid identification and credit card available upon arrival for check in. Full payment for your stay is expected upon arrival and must be either charged or authorized prior to check in. In addition to the room rate there is also transient occupancy tax of 10.5% and as of 1/1/08 a Tourism Marketing District assessment fee of 2%, and lastly, a California Tourism Assessment fee of 0.195%, for a total of 12.695% taxes and fees. Room numbers are not guaranteed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club and Discover credit cards. No pets allowed, however service animals are welcome. Special requests will be honored subject to availability. Credit is to be established prior to or at registration. If a room at the rate requested is unavailable, one at the nearest available rate will be reserved. There is a two-night minimum over weekends and a three night minimum over holiday weekends. All of our rooms are non-smoking, and there is no smoking allowed within the premises. No sub-letting. Late check-out is permitted only by the front desk on the day of check-out, and only if there is no scheduled arrival for that room.
