RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA Hotel is located in a fully renovated historic building which features apartments and rooms that have high ceilings, are ergonomic and practical in design and contain modern furniture and equipment. There are 22 fully self-contained apartments and rooms with everything you might need during the stay. SONADA Hotel is located in Riga at 129 Gertrudes Street (the main entrance is from 5 Valmieras Street). It is just a 20 minute walk or 10 minute drive to the famous and beautiful Old Town area. Bars and restaurants are also within easy reach. The Riga Central Railway station and Bus station are located very close, just 5 minutes trip by taxi.
For your convenience there is RECEPTION, luggage room, secure private PARKING, car & bike rent, CHILDREN outdoor PLAYGROUND and an AIRPORT TRANSFER service to and from the airport with a journey time between 20-25 minutes.

-The fee rate for each night spent by a vacationer or tourist at the accommodation place is 1 euro, but no more than 10 euros for the total stay. Terms and Conditions
The standard booking price includes the following:
-utilities (water, gas and electricity),
-internet and cable TV usage, towels and bed linen,
-cleaning before and after your stay (daily cleaning is available upon request for extra charge of 15 euros),
-all apartment amenities and facilities as mentioned on our website pages and in our correspondence.
The maximum number of extra beds in a room is 1. Any type of extra bed or child’s cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA management.
When you make a reservation,you are booking an apartment/room type (not a specific apartment). Each apartment type includes similar apartments/rooms of similar size and equipment; however,interior design can be different.
Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making an advance payment of the full rental amount. This can be paid using a debit/credit card or a bank transfer. We will process your booking within 24 hours of receiving your request and payment details. Please note,until you receive a reservation confirmation number your booking is not confirmed.
Your reservation is guaranteed until midnight on the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed, and the apartment/room may be reassigned.
Please carefully read our Cancellation Policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this. Our receptionists are instructed to follow this policy and rules. So to save any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you can observe the following:
Cancellation Policy for “Free-cancellation Rate”
30% of the total reservation price is charged 7 days before the arrival.
- the guest can cancel reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival;
- if the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, 30% of the total reservation price is non-refundable;
- if the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are 50% refunded;
- in case of a “No-show” the total reservation price will be charged and is non-refundable.
There is only one way in which we can acknowledge cancellation of the guest’s reservation - the guest MUST send a cancellation request stating the reservation number via email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org
All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.
Cancellation Policy for “Non-refundable Rate”

Cancellation Policy for “Super deal Rate”
The total reservation price will be charged right away after booking and is non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy for “Loyal customer rate”
Cancellation fee of 30 euros will be collected from Security deposit preautorisation in case of reservation cancellation at any time and is non-refundable.
No-show fee of 100 euros will be collected from Security deposit preautorisation in case of a “no-show” and is non-refundable.
Extending Your Stay
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check-out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar apartment should this be necessary.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Guests can arrange to check-in at RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA hotel any time after 3PM. Our friendly receptionists will assist you during your check-in, inform you about our facilities and services and explain any local rules and regulations as appropriate.
The outstanding balance of the full apartment/room rental amount is payable on arrival at check-in time. PLEASE NOTE that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorisation has been received and approved. A key is provided at check-in time after the full rental amount has been settled.
During the check-in process our receptionist will provide you with any information which may be required during your stay such as location of nearby shops, good places where you can eat, sights you may like to see, places to go at night, etc. Please, always ask our receptionist for anything that would make your stay more enjoyable and convenient.
Check-out time is until 11AM local time. Departure after 11AM is automatically considered as extension of accommodation. Later check-out times may be requested, although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes and will depend on availability and on how busy we are.
A detailed review of the condition of the apartment/room and all equipment and facilities will be made between 11AM and 3PM at check-out day, before another guest occupies the apartment.
Security Deposit Pre-authorisation
Please be aware that RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA pre-authorises your credit card for a security deposit of 100 or 200euros (100 euro per apartment with up to 6 guests; 200 euro per apartment with more than 6 guests).
Security deposit pre-authorisation will be released by your credit card’ issuing bank automatically in 3 business days after your check-out. Security deposit pre-authorisation will be released in total if the apartment is in good order, there are no damages and there are no unpaid Minibar or Extra service bills. Any excessive cleaning costs will also be deducted from the security deposit. Please note, credit card pre-authorisation is a bank hold on the account, it is not a direct payment or money withdraw from your bank account.
In our entire short stay apartments and rooms, smoking is not allowed. A 100 euro fine will be deducted from security deposit if smoking is found in the apartment/room or in any of the building areas such as window ledges, the lift,stairs or the entrance hall. Please note that we comply with the local health and safety guidelines and recommendations provided by the EEC on smoking in public places.
During your stay, the apartment/room, all the equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the apartment. The Tenant is financially responsible for any damage to the apartment. This includes losses caused by The Tenant or a third party’s negligent actions and behaviour.
A detailed review of the condition of the apartment/room and all equipment and facilities will be made between 11AM and 3PM at check-out day, before another guest occupies the apartment. The Tenant is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In this case a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repairer replacement cost will be sent by email immediately. Any costs will recovered from the security deposit pre-authorisation. Any costs will be claimed by return if they are greater than the security deposit amount.
Please note, immediate notification after check-in of any damages to, breakage sin or issues with the apartment/room is expected. RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA can then take any necessary action to resolve any issues and make sure all the equipment and facilities are working and provided as expected.
Immediate termination of the rental agreement
Immediate termination of the rental agreement is possible if:
-Excessive noise or party is made in the evening hours or at night between 10PM and 8AM. All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of the neighbours.
-Sub-letting the property, you have rented (or giving it to other people).
-More guests stay in the property than agreed. The number of people residing in the apartment should be the same as confirmed in the booking. Accommodation for additional guests may be requested. A 15-euro charge for each additional guest per nigh twill be charged. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight in the apartment.
-RIGAAPARTMENT SONADA does not allow any pets in the apartments. A100-euro fine will be claimed if pets will be accommodated in the apartments.
