Located just in front of the Castle, Bazpackers offers clean, professional, friendly service in a quiet but very central location of Inverness. We aim to provide quality, budget accommodation for backpackers roaming the Highlands.
In a converted old Victorian town house - built in 1826 - we offer 6-bed mixed and 4-bed female shared dormitory rooms, as well as twin and double private rooms with stunning views.
We also offer a spacious private self-catering apartment (up to 4 people) with private bathroom and kitchen.
Either if you are tired after a long walk or just want to chill out and mingle with other travelers from all around the world, feel free to come and warm up by our cozy fireplace or enjoy the views from the garden (and what about a barbecue?).
Our knowledgeable staff will always be happy to help you plan your trip in the Highlands or point you to the best places to check out in town.
We have a bunch of free stuff for you:

Our reception is open from 11 am to 11 pm. From 11 am you will be able to drop your bags directly in our luggage storage area and use our facilities. The check-in time will be between 3 pm and 11 pm. Check-out is 11 am.
The closing time of our common spaces is 11 pm.
If you require a self late check-in, you must advise reception prior to arrival as early as possible. We reserve the right not to accept very late check-in’s.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
This property has 2 different cancellation policies:
- Base rate: free cancellation up to 72 hours prior to your arrival date; cancellation within this time will result in a cancellation charge of the first night.
Please note: if you book a “base rate” (3 days /72 hours cancellation policy) and pay by PayPal, you’ll be automatically charged the full amount. However, if you wish to cancel, you can do so anytime up to 3 days day prior check-in and you will be eligible for a full refund. We reserve the right to temporarily hold an amount 3 days prior to arrival, which is simply making an authorization on your card. If this authorization fails, we reserve the right to cancel your booking. We will always contact you to let you know but it is in your interest to let us know as soon as possible to avoid any last minute disappointments. A no-show will lead to the charge of the first night and the booking will be cancelled.
- Non-Refundable rate: cancellation at any time after the reservation will result in a total charge of the amount due. Please note that if you book a non-refundable rate and that we are unable to charge your card, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

*IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR BOOKING WITH UNDER 18's YEARS OLD*
We do accept under 18 y.o. ONLY in the Apartment and in the Private rooms, if accompanied by adults.
Under no circumstances we will accept under 18 in the dormitory rooms.
We cannot accept online bookings of more than 6 people or for more than 7 consecutive days. We are a tourist hostel and cannot accommodate stag / hen parties or groups of working people. Please call us direct if you require further information.
Please note; we require photographic ID from all guests and reserve the right to refuse anyone access to the hostel.
Groups that wish to be together in the same dorm must contact us directly in advance to arrange this, as we cannot guarantee that you will be accommodated at the time of your booking.
