The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with Hillside Motel LLC located in Luray, Virginia. We generously ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.
- “Company” or “we” means Hillside Motel LLC located at 1460 US Highway 211 East, Luray, VA 22835.
- “Websites” means www.lurayhillsidemotel.com or any other website owned or operated by us relating to Motel from time to time.
- “Booking” means the booking for accommodation,functions and/or any other services or items made with us.
- “Contract” means the Booking and these Terms, and any other terms and conditions stated to apply to the Booking.
- “Motel” means the premises for which your Booking is made (Hillside Motel LLC located at 1460 US Highway 211 East Luray, VA 22835).
- “Terms” means these terms and conditions.
- “Guest” is the client making the booking.
Bookings: All Bookings at the Motel are subject to these Terms.At the time of booking or at check-in, we will take your credit/debit card details and you authorize the use of this card for any sums that become owing to us. We shall also have the right to require full payment in advance or a deposit at the time of booking in certain circumstances or if the Booking includes the supply of certain items or services. No Booking shall be treated as confirmed until the details and/or payment/deposit described in his paragraph have been provided.
Charges: The prices displayed on the Websites are an average per night. A minimum length of stay, deposit, cancellation charge and other conditions may apply to certain rates, as specified. Once a rate is selected on the Websites, the total for your requested stay shall be displayed on the reservation summary. Prices shall be charged in the local currency of the Motel.Price lists for additional items, such as pet fees or extra bedding are on display at relevant locations within the Motel and are available on request.
Check-in/ Check-out Requirements: In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, at the time of check-in, guests may be required to confirm the identity by providing their booking reference; their passport/identity card/driving license and a valid credit or debit card which will be swiped in the presence of the card holder. These records will be kept for at least 12 months and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any police officer or as otherwise required by applicable law in connection with the prevention or investigation of crime.Unless otherwise stated on the booking confirmation, Guests may check-in at 3:30PM on the scheduled day of arrival. All rooms that have been secured by credit/debit card or prepaid at the time of booking will he held until 7:00 PM on the scheduled day of arrival unless otherwise agreed directly with the Motel. Any non-secured reservation may be held until 5:30 p.m. on the day of arrival at which time we will be entitled to re-let the room, unless the guest has notified the Motel of a late arrival.On the day of departure, we kindly ask all guests to vacate their rooms by 10:30 a.m. (unless a later departure has been pre-approved by the Motel). Late check-out after this time can be requested subject to availability and will be charged at an hourly rate at the discretion of the Motel.Rooms are subject to maximum occupancy rules set by the Motel. No Smoking and Smoking Fee: All rooms are non-smoking. Guests are not permitted to smoke in rooms.Smoking is permitted 25-30 feet from motel rooms. Cigarettes are to be disposed of properly and safely. Please be considerate of other guests when smoking. The Motel reserves the right to remove any guest or member of their party if in our reasonable opinion this provision has been breached. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred. Guests will be charged an additional fee of $250 if found not following the smoking policy and the guest authorizes the Motel to process the smoking fee on the credit or debit card on file.
Pets and Pet Fees: We love all kinds of animals, but only domestic pets like cats and dogs are allowed to stay at the Motel..No more than two (2) domestic pets are allowed per room weighing no more than 50 pounds each. Pet fee charge of $25 per night non-refundable. ·Guests must always maintain control of their pets by having them on a leash or in a carrier when outside of their room. Guests are responsible to ensure all pets are up to date on vaccinations and will be held responsible for all actions of their pet. Pets may remain alone in a guest room so long as the pet is well behaved. However, if the pet is disturbing other guests/staff or causing damage, then it cannot be left alone and must remain in the guests control. Guests not following this will be asked to leave and no refund provided. Guest with cats must provide a litter box and maintain the cleanliness of it. Guest are to contact Housekeeping to make arrangements for room cleaning as we cannot clean rooms with pets inside the room. We suggest Guest schedule a time during the Motel’s normal cleaning schedule for housekeeping service while the Guest and pet are out. We have an area to the east of the pool where pets can be walked on a leash, in consideration for other guests, please clean up after your pets. We count on Guest to prevent their pet from making excessive noise, being disruptive or aggressive to other guests. The Motel reserves the right to remove any guest and their pet if the Motel deems the pet is dangerous,harmful or disruptive. in our reasonable opinion. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.The motel reserves the right to contact animal control at any time if mistreatment or the pet is deemed dangerous, harmful or disruptive. The Guest will be solely responsible for any incurred expenses that may be related. Pets are not permitted in the pool area. Guests are not permitted to keep their pets in their vehicles during their stay for safety and proper treatment of pets.If the Motel determines a guests room with a pet requires excessive cleaning or if damages are incurred as a result of pets actions, the guest authorizes the Motel to charge the credit card on file for any additional fees/cost associated with the damages or cleaning. Service pets are accepted with prior arrangement at the Company’s discretion, at no charge.
Payment We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: American Express,MasterCard, Visa; Discover Card or Cash. At the time of check-in, if prior payment has not been processed we will authorize the accommodation charges (room rate, taxes and any additional service charge)and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/debit card. We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorization by another valid form of payment, including cash. All outstanding charges must be paid for in full at the time of check in at the Motel.

Changes or Cancellation by the Company: Rarely we may need to cancel your Booking. In such circumstances you will be given a full refund if payment has been pre-paid but we shall have no further liability to you arising out of such cancellation. We will, however, use reasonable endeavors to try and re-locate any confirmed Booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard to the Motel.Your booking is for a class of room in the Motel and does not guarantee that you will be able to stay in a specific room or in the same room for the duration of your stay. If you have indicated a preference for a particular room through a "choose your own room" facility on the Website, we will use our reasonable efforts to honor this preference. However,we may need to allocate an alternative room to you for operational or safety reasons. If we need to move you to a different room during your booking for which a lower rate is available than the rate you booked at, we will refund you the difference in the rates.
Limitation of Liability:Guest have sole responsibility for securing any and all of their valuables.The Motel will not be responsible for accidents, illnesses or injury to guest or members of their party for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
Damage:We reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or the Motel during your stay created by yourself or ones in your party (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
Accessibility:We are a small motel and have limited accessibility rooms.Please contact our Motel directly at 800 366 0559 to discuss specific individual requirements and the availability of appropriate accommodation, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Pool:The outdoor pool is open Memorial Day weekend and closes day after Labor day.Guests staying in at the Motel may use the outdoor pool through out the duration of their stay. A condition of using the pool is that guest must comply with the pool rules. Pool rules are posted on the door of the pool entrance. Children under 16 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult .The pool operating hours is 10:30 AM until 8:00 p.m.. Requests for later usage of the pool may be made to the Motel staff and exceptions may be made. At certain times, facilities may become unavailable due to maintenance, adverse weather conditions or other reasons beyond our control. We will attempt to keep all Motel guests informed of the circumstances however this may not always be possible. If the pool is a significant reason for your choice of Motel, we would advise you to check directly with the Motel in advance of arrival.
Parking:Free parking located directly at room door reserved. Parking is limited to one vehicle per room. Exceptions for additional vehicles may be pre-approved by the Motel staff. Vehicles and their contents are left at the owner’s/customer’s own risk. We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage however caused (save as may not be excluded or restricted by applicable law).
Guest Behavior:Guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with Company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of the Motel, its employees and guests and their health and safety. Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests, the smooth running of the Motel, or cause offense to other guests or our members of staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the Motel if, in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred.
Children:All children (a person under 16 years of age) staying at the Motel must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Extra Bedding (roll away beds, air mattresses, etc.): Is not provided by the motel.
Force Majeure: The Company accepts no liability and will not pay any compensation where the performance of its obligations is prevented or affected directly or indirectly by or as a result of force majeure or any circumstances beyond its reasonable control including, but not limited to, flood, earthquake,extreme adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, other acts of God, acts of terrorism, fire or failure of electric power, gas, water, or other utility service, plant machinery, computers, vehicles or any collapse of building structures.
