Guarantee Policy
The full amount of the booking cost will be charged at time of booking.
Non-payment of the balance of the total cost will be treated as a cancellation of the Guest’s stay.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 14 days or less before arrival forfeit entirety of deposit. Contact the host directly to discuss reasons beyond the guest's control for consideration to re-schedule. This will be handled on a case by case basis. Inclement weather does not qualify for a re-schedule.
Additional Charges:
Add on products will be paid in full at time of purchase.
Any additional add on costs during your stay will be confirmed and paid by check out time, and if not Gatherwild reserves the right to collect payment after the reservation has ended.
Damages & Fees:
Smoking:
No Smoking is allowed inside any accommodations. If smoke damage occurs a cleaning charge of between $50 - $500 may be incurred depending on severity.
Pets:
One dog (sorry no other animal types due to high allergy rates) is allowed to accompany guest upon a signed pet acknowledgement form and a $35 fee has been paid. This covers standard laundering. If any additional cleaning is necessary due to pet damage, a cleaning charge between $50 - $500 may be incurred depending on severity.
Age Restrictions:
All bookings must be made by an adult over the age of 21.
Children of all ages are welcome if accompanied by an adult 21 years of age or older.
You represent that you are 21 years of age or older. If you are bringing a minor as a Guest, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the supervision of that minor throughout the duration of your stay.
Accessibility:
We currently do not offer a handicap accessible accommodation, but certain provisions for some special needs can be made on a case by case basis. Please contact laura@gatherwild.com for information and special arrangements.
Parking:
One onsite parking space is provided for each reservation. Please note the map and distance from each individual accommodation to the parking area. Some have a longer walk than others.
Groups:
Events are not permitted within the booking platform. Group bookings must be made directly with the host in advance.
Please notify host if outside guests will be joining for a portion of the stay.
Resolution:
We endeavor to ensure that Guests at Gatherwild are given a positive experience. We also recognize that on occasion things go wrong. In such circumstances, it is the responsibility of the Guest to make any such problem known to the host immediately, thereby giving us the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained. We will make every endeavor to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.
Liability:
Gatherwild is not responsible for any damage, illness or injury caused by use of the accommodation and any amenities; such use is at the Guest’s own risk.
Gatherwild has no liability for any death or personal injury to Guest/s on site.
The Guest and any of their guests hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the Premises regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss. The Guest expressly recognizes that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Host may maintain on the property does not cover the personal property of Guest and that Guest should purchase their own insurance for their guests if such coverage is desired.
House Rules:
Guest agrees to follow House Rules as outlined upon booking. Failure to follow this during your stay may result in termination of the reservation by the host without the ability to collect a refund. The rules are there to assure safety and a considerate experience for all.
Illegal Activity:
The Guest shall use the Premises for legal purposes only. Any other such use that includes but is not limited to illicit drug use, verbal or physical abuse of any person or illegal sexual behavior shall cause immediate termination of this Agreement with no refund.
