THE FLAT NYC HOTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
No Smoking, No Noise/Party Policy
The comfort and well-being of our guests is our #1 priority at the Flat NYC Hotel. We have a strict, no exceptions “NO SMOKING, NO NOISE/PARTY POLICY.” For the comfort and safety of ALL our guests, each guest must strictly follow the policies of the Flat NYC Hotel:
- We reserve the right to require any guest to putdown a mandatory $150 room security deposit in addition to the amount required from all guests for incidental charges. This deposit will be refunded to you upon checkout, after your room has been inspected for any damage or missing items. Any room and tax adjustments for other guestrooms due to disturbances will be deducted from the deposit.
- This is a SMOKE-FREE hotel. A $500 room recovery fee will be charged for smoking in any suite. Guests may be evicted from the Flat NYC Hotel without refund.
- Misconduct and misuse of any suite and/or the Flat NYC Hotel’s facilities is prohibited. We do not allow parties of any kind to be held in our suites. Authorities will be called and occupants will be evicted from the Flat NYC Hotel. Criminal charges could be applied.
- Excessive noise, loud voices, music, horseplay, etc. are not permitted. Noise is considered excessive when other guests of the Flat NYC Hotel are disturbed or annoyed. This includes movement of persons to and from your suite.
- All noise complaints which result in compensation to guests disturbed will be charged to the suite whose noise caused the complaint.
- Use of alcohol by minors is strictly prohibited. Use of illegal drugs by anyone is strictly prohibited.
- It is the policy of the Flat NYC Hotel not to make accommodations available to minors for parties in connection with “prom night” or any other ceremonies. Any intended use of a suite that you have reserved for such purpose is grounds for cancellation of your reservation. If we hear that such a party is in progress, and particularly if we have reasonable grounds to suspect alcoholic beverages are being consumed or that illegal activity is taking place, we reserve the right to immediately evict the occupants. Persons under the age of 21 will not be served and may not consume alcoholic beverages on the Flat NYC Hotel’s property.
- Should there be damages to a guest’s suite, any replacement or repairs to the damaged item(s) will be deducted from the security deposit and any overages will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
- The Flat NYC Hotel reserves the right to:
- Photograph any damage, negligence or persons in any suite for our records.
- Request picture identification of all guests and they must be registered at check-in.
- Notify the New York Police Department:
I have read and understand all policies and procedures listed above and agree rental of the suite is conditional upon abiding by the policies of the Flat NYC Hotel. Should there be any damage or extra cleaning for which my guests or I are responsible, I agree I will add the appropriate charge to my credit card or payable in cash. Damages to the Flat NYC Hotel also include suite and tax adjustments made for other guests of the Flat NYC Hotel who were disturbed by excessive noise from my suite or persons on property moving to and from my suite. The adjustments are customary and done to ensure satisfaction of the disturbed guest prior to leaving the Flat NYC Hotel.
- If there is no immediate full cooperation at any given time
- If illegal substances are present
- If minors are in possession of alcohol
and/or any other incidents that require police assistance.
By signing the form, I consent to any action which may be necessary to evict me from the Flat NYC Hotel and/or hold me financially responsible as noted above if the policies and procedures are not followed.
