Prices and Taxes Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Philippine Peso. All prices are quoted in inclusive of 12% VAT
Payment and Terms at Check-in, Check-out
Full payment for rooms will be taken at the time of check-in and in the event of a check-out time extension. Purchases in the restaurant or bar can be added to the room tab or paid at the time of purchase. We are required by local laws to collect certain demographic and personal information such as your name, age, country of origin etc. We are required to share this information with the government and reserve the right to use this information for the delivery of confirmation emails, for follow up satisfaction surveys and for annual marketing purposes. We will not share you information with any other third party. Valid identification for all guests will be requested at time of check in.
Dive Shop Payments
Full payment for dives and diving related activities will be taken after the activity or on regular intervals for extended visits.
Accessibility or Special Needs
Malapascua is a small, partially developed island in the Philippines. There are seldom any facilities to accommodate differently abled guests and as such it should be understood that while we will do our best to help any guest, the ultimate responsibility falls on the guests to facilitate these needs. It should also be noted that almost all of the roads and footpaths are made from loose sand and are not suitable for wheelchairs.
Parking, Vehicles and Transport
Malapascua is a small island without any road infrastructure. There are no trains, buses or car son the island and the only mode of transport is by foot or my motorcycle. Parking is never an issue.
Hotel Events
From time to time we reserve the right to hold events which may disrupt the standard pattern of the resort’s operations. These disruptions might include but are not limited to:
- Changes in the operation times of the bar and/or restaurant, Music and/or live entertainment in the garden/pool areas of the resort.
Problems / Dispute Resolution
We try to make everyone’s stay as pleasant as possible and we actively promote feedback should anything not reach your expectations. Our resort and dive shop managers are available daily to handle any issues, or please feel free to contact reception for urgent needs.
Liability
We highly recommend guest purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance. Factors such as weather conditions, health problems and other unforeseen circumstances can change travel plans and/or cause financial losses that should be insured against. Cancellations, losses and disruptions caused by reasons outside of our responsibility will be shouldered by the guest unless they are insured. As with all trips abroad we also recommend personal injury insurance.

All terms and conditions are subject to change with or without prior notice. Online rate shall be the final on time of purchase.
The purchase of the services will indicate the acceptance of the traveler with full knowledge and consent to adhere to the conditions herein stated.
