For cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival, there will be no liability and the deposit will be returned, minus an administration fee of 5%. For cancellations received between 30 days and 14 days prior to arrival, the deposit is non-refundable but can be used in exchange for another date. For cancellations received less than 14 days prior to arrival, the deposit will be retained, and we reserve the right to charge the full cost if the accommodation is not fully re-sold. Holiday insurance is therefore strongly recommended to cover any cancellations outside of the Base Surf Lodge cancellation window. In the unlikely event that Base Surf Lodge has to cancel your accommodation booking due to a double booking through online agents, you will be given a full refund of the total payment including the deposit. If your surf lesson is cancelled due to bad conditions (red flagged beach, fog, no waves, etc.) we will go thorough a land based surf lesson with theory and interactive skill practice. If this is not possible or doesn't suit you, we can offer a £30 refund for each lesson cancelled.
