Hotel Casona Solar breathing more than 300 years of Peruvian History

Hotel Casona Solar is a beautiful restored colonial mansion build in 1702 in the centre of the sparkling and proud colonial city of Arequipa. In just a 2 minute walk you will find the Plaza de Armas and all important monuments. Hotel Casona Solar breaths the atmosphere of the early 18th century with it’s thick walls of Sillar.

All rooms have high arched roofs with big doors that enter one of the two big central courtyards.
The rooms also have 40” flat-screens, WiFi, water-cookers with coffee and te, a fridge and a modern bathroom.

A breakfast buffet is served every morning between 06:30 AM. and 09:30 AM.
After a day of exploring Arequipa you can relax and enjoy the always blue sky of Arequipa in one of the 2 central courtyards with a drink our small snack.

Conditions concerning children and extra beds:

We can accommodate children of all ages. A child under 2 years old can be accommodated using the existing bed.
Children older then 2 years or adults can be accommodated for USD 40 or S / .128.00 per night in a extra bed. The price for a extra bed includes breakfast.
The maximum amount of extra beds for each room is 1!

Parking:

There is private parking at 50 meter from the Hotel facilities. It is not necessary to reserve in advance. The price is: USD 1.00 or S /. 3.30 per hour from 08:00 to 22:00

From 10:00 p.m. until 08:00 p.m. the price is approximately USD 5.00 or S /. 18.00 per night.

Pets:

They are not allowed.

Local tax laws:

Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens and foreigners residing for more than 59 days in Peru must pay an additional fee of 18% IGV.

To be exempt from the payment of this 18% IGV supplement, it is necessary to present a copy of the immigration card and passport.

It is essential to present both documents in order to be exempt from the payment of this supplement. Otherwise, the indicated supplement must be paid.

Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% IGV, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru.

This supplement is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.
