1• Check-in/check-out
Check-in is between2:00 pm and 5:00 pm or at another time, as requested by the guest;
Upon check-in, theguest must present their identity card / passport;
Upon check-in, guestswill be given a room key and another key to the main door of the building.
Inthe case of dormitories, a locker key will also be delivered;
A security deposit of10 € will be required to prevent possible losses of the keys, being returnedthis value, at the time of check-out, with the return of the keys;
If the guest loses anyof these keys he/she should go immediately to the reception and communicatewhat happened;
Check-out is between 9:00am and 11:00 am.

2 • Payment policy
At the time ofreservation, as guarantee of the same, will be requested the credit card data;
Payment is made uponcheck-in and all extras consumed can be paid at check-out or at the time ofpurchase;
Payment is accepted incash, ATM or bank transfer. We accept debit and credit cards. Checks are notaccepted. Specific payment terms may apply to travel agencies, tour operatorsand other entities.

3 •Cancellation policy
If you cancel yourreservation up to 3 days before, no cancellation fee will be charged;
If you cancel 2 daysbefore arrival, the price of the first night will be charged;
In case of no-show, theentire reservation will be charged.

4 • Breakfast
Our breakfast isincluded in the daily rate, runs from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, and is mostly madeup of Azorean products.

5 • Guest rooms
No eating or drinkingin the rooms;
Rooms have no capacityto add extra beds. Cots can be installed in the "Sé Catedral" and"Alto da Memória" suites. All suites have convertible sofas in bunkbeds for children/youth up to the age of 16. In doubles, bunk beds should beused by children between 6 and 16 years of age.    

6 • Common spaces
The common spaces andequipment available to guests should be used in the right conditions and leftclean and in good condition;
All damages, damagesand thefts associated with the Client will be charged, taking into account thevalue of the damages in question;
Children under 14 yearsof age must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay atthe hotel.

7 • Security
We are not responsiblefor articles lost or stolen due to lack of care. For greater security, werecommend locking the door of your room.
The Client must alwaysclose the doors to the building, the bedroom door and make sure that they areproperly closed;
People not on the guestlist are not allowed to stay;
In the suites and inthe doubles we offer free safes. In dorms, all lockers have single keys;
In case of emergency,the Customer must call the contacts available at reception for this purpose.

8 • Room Access
The Memória Hostel teamwill have the right to enter the room during the Client's stay in order toperform daily cleaning (until 12.00), repairs, etc.

9 • General policies
Without prejudice to the above andthe general rules on the operation of the tourist accommodation, it is notallowed inside the premises of the hostel:
Smoking or rocketing;
Changing the layout ofthe rooms;
Leaving trash in commonand private spaces;
Excessive intake ofalcoholic beverages;
Pets;
Carring out activitiesthat cause noise that can annoy other guests, between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am,according to the General Regulation of Noise.

10 • Data protection
The personal data ofthe Customers and their dependents, if applicable, will be stored and processedby Memória Hostel and service providers, in accordance with the Law, for theservices requested by the Client and for the advertising campaigns own;
The Client shall havethe right to oppose at any time for the use of personal data for advertisingpurposes, and shall inform this Hostel;
Unless otherwisestated, Customer's personal data should be excluded when the legal retentionperiod ends.
