Sitting atop of a scenic ridge overlooking the quaint town of Grand Marais, Michigan, this 10-unit motel and rental cottage boasts one of the most spectacular views of Grand Marais's Harbor of Refuge and Lake Superior!

The ADA accessible room and all standard rooms are smoke and pet free, contain 2 queen beds, and come with a complimentary view of the surrounding waters, passing vessels, colorful sunsets, and starry skies! Room amenities include a microwave oven, toaster, mini-fridge, 4-cup coffee maker, complimentary coffee, cable TV and free wi-fi.

Rental cottage includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen and living area. Linens and towels provided. Sleeps 8.

Guests can enjoy our sauna and 7-person hot tub after a day of hiking, Agate hunting, or beachcombing Superior's pristine shores for treasures. A short, leisurely walk from the motel puts you in the heart of Grand Marais where you can enjoy shopping, local restaurants and brewery, the marina, and, of course, many beaches for building castles or hunting agates. If you prefer to appreciate the area on 4 wheels or by track, the property is located on a dead-end street and is close to ORV and snowmobile trails and has ample parking for trailers. Trails are accessible from the property!

Life happens. We get that. Reservations are fully refundable 48 hours prior to check-in. Reservations cancelled less than 48 hours prior to check-in will be charged one night.
To cancel a reservation, please use the link in your reservation confirmation or call us.
If a guest decides to leave prior to their check-out date, an early departure fee will be assessed to the reservation. This is 100% of the first night not used.
In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.
All cancellations are confirmed via email immediately after the reservation has been cancelled.
