.Mid Season (16/03 - 30/06 & 14/09 - 31/10): 7 days prior to arrival no cancellation fee will be applied.  The deposit paid will be totally refunded
.High & Festive Season (01/07 - 15/09) 14 days prior to arrival no cancellation fee will be applied.  The deposit paid will be totally refunded. 

If cancelled after the abovementioned days, 50% of the totalamount  be charged.

The property reserves the right to charge an early departure fee in the event a guest departs earlier than the original departure date.

Cancellation Policy
Each rate booked at Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo & Spa, is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the rate booked. We reserve the right tocancel or modify reservations under the circumstances where it appears that a customer has provided an invalid credit card, engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. In addition, we also reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not ad here to our terms & conditions.
If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early, a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked. In the cases of the aforementioned booking cancellations, Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo &Spa has no obligation to guarantee new available bookings or best rates.
A new booking at the best available rate will need to be made by the guest at the time of the new reservation. As a condition of using this website, you agree to provide proof of payment to the hotel reservations department within 24 hours of the time of booking and will indicate the reservation confirmation number on the proof of payment. You will be fully responsible for any banking fees and/or costs required to complete the bank funds transaction(s).
Furthermore, you acknowledge that the reservation may be cancelled by the hotel if proof of payment is not submitted to the hotel withinthe 24-hour notice period. You will be responsible for any cancellation or no show penalties that might be incurred and hereby acknowledge that booking and personal contact information provided is correct for the hotel’s validation purposes. 

Pricing Errors
Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo & Spa reserves the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price or service at any point in time.

Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo & Spa works with dynamic rates, which means thatthe rates may vary accordingly to the hotel’s demand. Monte do Giestal always guarantee the best available rate to all direct bookings.

Toall special events which take place at our panoramic event venue, including weddings or other festive events  will be required a  full pre-payment in order to confirm the booking.

Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo & Spa is a Pet Friendly Rural Tourism, therefore your four-legged friends are more than welcomed at our property!
You can opt between this two modalitites:  

.Kennel: free of charge and subject to availability.
Stayin the Villa: an additional fee will be applied, per day.
 

We apply this fee due to cleaning reasons and because we offer welcome amenities,basket, bowls for food and for water. If you wish to bring your four-leggedfriend, please contact us for further details.

 
Spado Monte
SPA do Monte area was conceived to complement the accommodation and a good meal, oreven as an opportunity to relax after all the energy spent on outdooractivities.
Associated with the concept «Health through Water», Monte do Giestal also aims to provide wellness through the rural environment and by incorporating what is most characteristic of Alentejo. SPA has a covered area spanningover 300 m2 and provides the following services:

Monte do Giestal, Casas de Campo & Spa also offers two outdoorswimming-pools, the larger for the adults and the smallest for the children.
Please note that both pools are not supervised or heated, being monitored and treated daily with products suitable to maintain the desired pH, temperature,transparency and chlorine level. 

Whatare the pool’s usage rules?

Children should be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times (in and around the pool area). Diving is not allowed.. It is not possible to occupy the loungers with personal belongings during long periods of absence. Bicycles and pets are not allowed to enter in the areas surrounding the pools and garden. We advise all our guests not to enter the water suddenly after long periods of sunbathing. The hotel is not responsible for any accident that occurs in these areas.

In the public areas of the property and some staff areas CCTV is in operation an dvideo recordings may be made. This activity is carried out for security and service reasons for the better management of the property and security for allits Clients and staff.

All photography or filming for commercial purposes must be authorised by a member of the Hotel's Executive team. No photography or filming must take place in any area of the property under any circumstances without the assigned representative from the Hotel. Hotel staff members and the Hotel uniforms or part there of will not be used in the photography or filming and no staff role will be impersonated for the purposesof the photography or filming. Use of the Hotel brand name, commercial photography, Hotel images and the Hotel logo including trademarks or tradenames requires the prior written consent of the Hotel. The Hotel will take appropriate legal action to restrain any misuse or unauthorised usage of theHotel collateral listed above.

All information, data and materials presented on this website, including names, logos, content, etc., as well as the colour scheme and the layout of the website, are subject to copyright, trade markrights, database rights and/or other intelectual property rights. Complaints Book
The Hotel has a Complaints Book. If the Client wishes to make a complaint, the Hotel always suggests that the Client first try to resolve the problem in a friendly manner by contacting the Hotel.
If this is not possible, the Client must request the Complaints Book to formalize his/ her complaint. If the Client prefers, he/ she can do so through the Electronic Complaints Book Platform, a digital platform where consumers and users can submit requests for information to regulatory/ supervisory entities, submit complaints, suggestions or praises to the economic operator.   

PrivacyPolicy
The Company treats with great respect and seriousness the safe guarding of its Clients privacy. The collection of the Client’s personal information aims to meet his needs and assist the Hotel in enabling reservations requests. Personal information is deemed to be any information collected about the Client as an individual,such as name, address, age, gender, image, e-mail, telephone number, creditcard information, preferences and specific requests stated before, during orafter the stay, including digital correspondence exchange. This data will be collected only with the Client’s prior consent and processed in compliance withthe European Union legislation on the General Data Protection Regulation. 

Whyis personal information collected:
To present the Client a superior customer service - Personal information is collected to assist the Hotel in making a reservation for a Client and inproviding the services requested by him.
By keeping this data, the Hotel improves the service delivered to the Client every time there is a repetition of stay. Holding certain stay related personal information on file, such as information regarding guest history and itemized spending, allows the Client and the Hotel to confirm prior transactions and reconcile statements or invoices. And also to keep the Client informed - The provided personal information may be used to send newsletters with novelties to the Client and also to inform him of promotions, offers or other information that may be of his interest. Inorder to do this, personal information may be shared with a third party,including a customer relationship management company and/or a marketing and communications company. These companies are under contract with the Hotel andare contractually required to protect all personal information to which theyhave access. If the Client wishes not to receive information from the Hotel,that request can be made on his registration card upon stay or through ane-mail to geral@montedogiestal.com.
 

Relocation
In the rare unexpected event whereby the Property cannot provide accommodation aspreviously confirmed, the Property will comply with its standard of obligation by undertake to relocate guests into an alternative property of equal or bettergrading at no expense to the guest. Should there not be a property of equal orbetter grading in the vicinity of the original booking, it may be required to provide guests with a property of a lesser grading. If this is the case, any reduction in costs will be refunded to the guest. The alternatives offered are at the Property’s discretion. Should the guest wish to choose a property of a standard other than offered under this condition, then the guest will be required to pay any difference.
