Reservations and availability.

All reservation requests must be sent to the reservations department via email to reservaciones@hoteltortuguerobeach.com
The hotel will confirm all reservations by email with the respective confirmation number.
Individual Reserves
All reservations must be pre-paid before check-in, if not, you must cancel any balance before the time of entry to the hotel of the guests. Except, if it is done with an Open Voucher, according to a valid contract between agency and Hotel.
No show charge
There will be no refund for “No Shows”, in which case the entire stay charge plus taxes applies.
Charge for “early departure” or “go show”:
If the guest leaves before the date stated in the reservation / "Early departure or Go Show", there will be no refund and the total stay plus taxes will be charged.
Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
Cancellation Policy Individual rates
Regular seasons:
- For individual reservations, if a cancellation is made with less than 14 days to the reserved date, the penalty will be 100%, no refund applies.
- For individual reservations, if a cancellation is made with less than 15 to 30 days to the reserved date, the penalty will be 50%, no refund applies.
Peak seasons:
- If a cancellation is made with less than 30 days to the reserved date, the penalty will be 100%, no refund applies.
Conditions and method of payment
The payment method is made by credit or debit card when making the reservation automatically.
Overbooking
In the exceptional case that the Hotel could not accommodate one or more guests with the confirmed reservation, it will provide accommodation in an establishment of equal or superior category.
As soon as the hotel has a room available, the guest agrees with the agency to register immediately at the hotel.
Check In Policy - Check out:
Check in time 2:00 p.m. and check out 11:00 am. The Hotel will do its best to have rooms available for early arrivals when requested.
Late check out charge
If the guest wishes to extend the departure time, they must consult the Reception beforehand and according to the availability of the room, late check-out may be authorized.
The charge is $ 20 until 2:00 p.m. and from this hour until 4:00 p.m. 50% of the daily rate will be charged, starting at 5 p.m. full night charge plus taxes applies.
Charge for “early departure” or “go show”:
In the event that the guest makes their departure before the date indicated “early departure” or “go show”, on their reservation, the penalty is at least one night, or the nights consumed to date.
No smoking policy:
National legislation prohibits smoking in common areas, restaurants and bars. For the convenience of the guest, the hotel has a non-smoking policy.

Similarly check with reception at the time of booking and upon arrival to find out the areas designated to do so. Smoking is not allowed in the external showers, balconies or internal or external terraces of the rooms.

Property damage

Prohibition of assignment and subrogation:

General conditions:
a. The guest agrees to work with Hotel Tortuguero Beachfront against Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
b. The guest agrees with the Hotel Tortuguero Beachfront to respect the following laws:

• Law 7600: Law on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities
• Law 7575: Forest Law
• Law 7554: Organic Law of the Environment
• Law 7475: Law against Harassment or Sexual Harassment in Employment
• Law 7317: Wildlife Conservation Law
• Law 6703: Law on National Archaeological Heritage
• Law 8204: Law on Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances, Unauthorized Drug Use, legitimate capital and Related Activities.
• In addition, the hotel agrees to prohibit all discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, race, sexual orientation, political opinion, nationality and social origin.
c. Customer Claims: Discounts due to customer complaints or claims must be established by mutual agreement between the hotel and the agency / company or, failing that, by a final judicial or administrative ruling. For the negotiation and agreement between the hotel and the guest / company to take place, it will be an inexcusable requirement that the claim has been submitted and signed in writing in writing to the hotel management by the clients during their stay at the hotel.
d. The guest will have to return to the hotel when the hotel has availability to enjoy the rest of the stay.
