Whether you are far away from home, just passing through, at trade fairs or just staying during your city trip, we are open to you - also in the future, informally and freely - and we mean that literally. You can use the equipped communal kitchen, Watch TV in our sofa corner, play various games, read or chat with other guests in the spacious lounge.
The necessary space and peace, especially for digital nomads, in combination with high-speed WiFi is available to our guests free of charge throughout the house and in the yard. In our snack and drinks vending machine you will find soft drinks, sweet snacks and small snacks. City maps, information about art and culture, and shopping guides are available in the entrance area. For your daily needs, grocery stores, kiosks, ATMs, pharmacies and pizzerias can be reached in less than 5 minutes on foot.
Unlike in many cities, shopping here is sometimes possible until midnight. We deliberately decided not to have our own bar because we believe that the old town and the harbor are exciting enough and that this should be a place where you can sit back, relax and take a deep breath.
Important information: We do not offer parking spaces! One block further there is a cheap underground car park > Kirchplatz > Q-Park
If you have bikes with you, it is okay to bring the bikes to the hostel and store them in the hallway.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Single reservations free cancellation when cancelled 48 hrs ahead (the cancellation has to be done via email and needs to be confirmed by the hostel)
- Cancellation policy: Group (3 and more beds) booking cancellation according to BGB free of charge until 4 weeks before arrival, until 2 weeks before arrival 50%, afterwards 100%.
- Cancellation policy during trade fairs and for groups in general (>3 persons) – minimum 21 days prior your date of arrival
- If you pay in full or pay a deposit in advance via Paypal, there will be fees that will be borne by us when the overnight stay is fulfilled.
- Refunds for cancellations (through not fault of ours) will be made less the paypal fees
Terms and Conditions
>>> The city of Düsseldorf will charge a city tax of €3.00 per overnight stay from January 1, 2024.
The change will take place in our system end of December.
Reservations for 2024 made before December 31, 2023 will be adjusted accordingly.<<<<
Dear guests,
we are very pleased that you have chosen our house and we will of course try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
In return, we ask you to behave in our house in such a way that neither other guests nor neighbours are disturbed. Please also note the following rules:
Smoking is absolutely forbidden in the house (also at the windows). In case of disregard we have to charge an amount of 150,00€.
It is absolutely necessary to keep to the night's rest (23:00 - 07:00). This also applies in particular to the street in front of the hostel. Outside of the night's rest we ask for a reasonable volume in the rooms and in the common areas.
In the event of gross and negligent damage to or soiling of the building or inventory, the damage caused is to be compensated by the party responsible. Compensation payments are to be made immediately and in cash. In the case of groups, the responsible accompanying persons (the person who made the booking), if necessary representing the organiser, must make advance payment. In case of intent, a complaint will be filed immediately.
The use of illegal intoxicants in the house is strictly prohibited.
Drunk guests may be expelled from the house.
The consumption of beer, wine and sparkling wine is permitted in moderation (not in masses!).
Hard alcohol is not permitted.
The stay of strangers is generally not permitted.
Theft will be reported to the police.
Animals are not permitted.
In the event of violations of one or more regulations, we are entitled to terminate the accommodation contract without notice at any time. Of course, the guest's obligation to pay for the booked overnight stays remains.
You can move into your room on the day of arrival from 15:00.
On the day of departure, please check out by 11:00 am. Please take off your bed linen and bring it to the reception.
On the day of arrival and departure you have the possibility to store your luggage in a locker (limited number). However, we would like to point out that we do not accept any liability for luggage and valuables. This is a free service on our part.
