The Old St. Angela Inn is family owned located in Pacific Grove, one block from the beautiful Monterey Bay. The inn was built in 1910 as a country home but in 1923 was sold to St Angela's Church and was used as the church's rectory and as a convent for many years The rooms are designed with distinctive individuality and warmth to provide comfort and serenity. Each of our nine guest rooms has a private bathroom, decorated and furnished in the craftsman style of the original house. The inn showcases lovely antiques, teddy bears, a beautiful Zen Garden and other delights which provide a relaxing and informal feeling. There is a total of nine lovely rooms at our Old St Angela Inn which is the perfect getaway for a variety of travelers. Each room is designed and decorated to reflect it's uniqueness. Rooms can accommodate between two and four guests with views of the ocean, neighborhood, and garden. All of our guest rooms are ADA Defined service-animal friendly. Many of the rooms have amenities such as fireplace, sitting area, radio, telephone, hair dryer, alarm clock, bathrobe, ceiling fans, WiFi, and much more. Our services and amenities are loved by all of our guests, so when you’re planning to travel to the Monterey Bay, stay with us in Pacific Grove. - If the guest cancels more than 7 days in advance, the total amount of the reservation will be refunded.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance, the reservation will be charged in full..
- In case of a “no-show”, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.

Front Desk office hour is from 8:00am to 19:30pm daily, after office hour please make sure to self-check in by text 831-372-3246 to receive your door lock key numbers for entry.
Check-in at 4:00pm
You can check-in any time from 4PM by local time. Check in desk is at the lobby of the Inn. Arrangements for checking-out will be made at the same time. The balance of the full stay amount is payable 3 days before check-in. Please note that check-in cannot be completed until full payment and security deposit pre-authorization for the room has been received and approved. Incidental hold of 150USD will be authorized upon checkin, and released after check out. With door code entry, make sure to enter your phone number at the time of reservation, the host will contact you directly with text message upon arrival to receive your door code.
Check-out at 11:00AM
You can check-out any time up until 11am local time. Later check-out times may be requested although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes and will depend on availability and on how busy we are. Please note that a more detailed inspection of the room/apartment is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found before the room/apartment is occupied again.
The incidental charge should be released by your credit card issuing bank automatically in 3 workdays, but sometimes only in a 15-21 day period. Please be aware that bed linen and towels should be placed where they were originally found. The bed linen and towels are NOT gifts and should remain in the Inn.
We require a 25% deposit at the time of the booking to hold the rooms.
This will be taken at time of booking confirmation.
A further 50% is required 30 days prior to arrival.
The balance of 25% is payable 7 days prior to arrival. If the booking is cancelled after the first payment and before the 2nd payment a 10% cancellation fee applies.
If the booking is cancelled after the 2nd payment the 25% initial deposit is non-refundable.
After the final payment is made there are to be no changes or refunds. We are happy to work with guests on minor booking modifications prior to 7 days before the arrival date, availability dependent and in line with cancellation terms.
Damages + Incidentals
The Old St. Angela Inn reserves the right to request guests depart the property whom display a lack of care, damage or disrupt the general atmosphere, guest experience and business reputation during their stay. This includes but is not limited too; smoking in house, in room breakages, drug/ alcohol consumption, property damages and/ or in causing unreasonable disruption to other guests.
Pets Policy
No Pets allowed except for ESA animal, need to provide documentation of the ESA status.
