Driftwood Terms and Conditions

By placing a booking with us (the property owner or their representative), you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us before making a booking.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honoring this agreement or causing a disturbance / nuisance to other guests, neighbors or the owners. You will be charged the total price of a reservation if any of the following terms are not followed.

1. Booking Process

To book with us, the lead guest must be at least 18 years of age. The maximum room occupancy is two (2) guests, regardless of age, with no exceptions. Children under 12 are not permitted to stay at Driftwood. Guests aged 12-17 are considered adults and are charged at the adult rate.
If the person making the booking is not the lead guest, they may be held responsible for cancellations, no-shows, and damages. Only the lead guest and the named booking party may use the property and its facilities. Third-party visitors are allowed only with prior express permission.A 50% deposit of the total stay is required to secure your booking.
The deposit must be cleared before confirmation. Payments can be made online, by debit/credit card, digital transfer, or cash deposit. Any charges for dishonored payments must be reimbursed within 7 days. The full balance is due upon check-in.

2. Occupancy and Group Size

The maximum number of guests per room is two (2), regardless of age. If your party exceeds this limit, additional rooms must be booked. If your party arrives with more people than stated in the reservation, we reserve the right to cancel the booking immediately, and the full amount will be charged.

3. Children Policy

Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to stay at Driftwood. Guests aged 12-17 are considered adults and will be charged at the adult rate. There are no special rates or extra bedding for children, and no exceptions are made to occupancy limits. If your booking includes more than the allowed number of guests, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation, and the full amount will be charged.

4. Courtesy and Respect

All guests are expected to respect the privacy and peace of other guests, neighbors, and the owners. Common areas are available for use between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. Disruptive behavior or disturbance to others may result in immediate cancellation of the booking, with no refund issued.

5. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in is available from 1:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Any guests who do not respect these times will incur a charge for an additional night.

6. Cancellation Policy

To cancel a booking, guests must notify us as soon as possible. Refunds will be issued as follows:

• Cancellation 14 days or more before arrival: Deposit is refunded.
• Cancellation within 14 days of arrival: No deposit refund. 
• No-show or late arrival: No deposit refund and the remaining balance of the booking will be charged.

In the event we need to cancel your booking, we are not liable for circumstances beyond our control. Our liability is limited to the refund of any payment already made. However, if the cancellation is due to a breach of our terms, the full price of the reservation will be charged.

7. Wi-Fi Usage

Guests agree to use the Wi-Fi service fairly and responsibly. The service is intended for general use. Access to illegal activity via our network is strictly prohibited and will be reported to local authorities.

8. Damages and Lost Property

The lead guest is responsible for any damages caused by any member of their party, including breakages, stains, fire damage, or damage to fixtures and furniture. Accidental damages should be reported immediately. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of 300,000 IDR per key. Lost property will be held for one week, and we make every effort to return items but are not responsible for replacing them.

9. Food and Drink Policy

Guests are not allowed to store or consume food in the rooms. Designated dining areas are available, including the restaurant, balconies, and around the pool. Cooking is not permitted within the resort. External drinks or food are also prohibited; all drinks should be purchased from the minibar or the bar. Please notify staff of items consumed when checking out.

10. Breakfast Policy

Breakfast is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. If breakfast is included in your booking, it applies only to the registered guests (maximum of two). If breakfast is not included, it may be ordered from the menu for an additional fee.

11. Smoking Policy

Smoking is only allowed in designated areas with ashtrays throughout the grounds. Smoking inside rooms or bathrooms is strictly prohibited. Any damage caused by smoking will be charged to the lead guest.

12. Pets

We do not accept pets on the premises.

13. Parking

Guests park their vehicles at their own risk. Driftwood is not responsible for any damage or loss to vehicles.

14. Accessibility

At this time, our rooms do not have wheelchair access.

15. Personal Details & Privacy

As required by Indonesian law, we maintain a register of guests over the age of 18, including full names, nationality, passport or ID numbers, place of issue, and details of the next destination. These records are kept for a minimum of 12 months in accordance with local laws and data protection regulations (DPA and GDPR).

16. Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel any booking without compensation if any of the terms and conditions are breached. In such cases, no refund will be issued, and the full payment will be charged.
