HISTORY: Property was built in 1948 and open to operate since 1952, we offer up to date lodging spaces; the historic significance was being the FIRST LODGING built on US Hwy 14 between Madison and La Crosse, Wisconsin, a 120 miles stretch road. ARCHITECTURE: Designed by JC Caraway - a Frank Lloyd Wright apprentice at the time, the project was supervised by the Master. The USONIAN architectural lines are a Frank Lloyd Wright signature style, straight lines and clean spaces, non clutter - the idea was simplicity for furnishing and use of space. COMFORT and SERVICE: Uniquely designed, the rooms are a comfortable space to make you feel at home; amenities we offer are meeting the standard of the 21st century, so you should not need anything else. The Deposit collected at the time of booking which is A NON-REFUNDABLE ITEM.
Check in time is 3pm to 8pm or by appointment, special arrangement only & Check out is BY 11am; ask for exceptions or flex option; any guests remaining after check out time will be charged for an additional fee in the amount of ONE NIGHT RATE. which applies to the card on file, unless there is specified amount of hours for which you want to remain in and we'll charge you accordingly;
When asking for an early check in for 2 or more hours, there is a $35 fee applied to your stay.
• We are a SMOKE FREE ZONE PROPERTY- SMOKING IS PROHIBITTED ON THE PROPERTY'S GROUNDS or INSIDE THE BUILDING AT ANY TIME (Smoking of cigarettes or vaping & drugs usage) ***CHARGES ARE enforced and can vary from $175 - $450 per occurrence.
• PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS OR ON PREMISES AT ANY TIME. We would love to have your pets boarded at the nearby facilities ***MINIMUM FINE from $150 up to $250
***outdoor bike rack in front of the building is available free of charge ***GARAGE SPACE is provided for a fee of $12/room/bikes/pernight;
• NO BICYCLES CAN BE STORED IN THE ROOM AT ANY TIME• In the event you stored your bike in the room there will be a minimum fee of $50 charge and it will be applied to your credit card on file.
* IN THE EFFORT TO PRESERVE OUR HISTORIC PROPERTY open flames candles in the rooms are restricted*** in case of any violation a minimum fee of $50 will be charged to your stay. or the cost of the damaged goods.
• Your liability for this bill/reservation is not waived at your check out time and you are to be held personally liable in the event that the indicated person or company failed to pay for any part or full amount of these charges including any incidentals, missing/damaged items from within the room *** penalty carries a minimum of $250 or the cost of goods to be replaced • DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN FURNITURE IN THE ROOM WITH ANY CHEMICHALS approved or not by EPA – any damage by those products will be charge according to the above paragraph
• All communication should be in writing when canceling a reservation; WE DO NOT SHARE, SELL OR PUBLICIZE YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT TO ANY OUTSIDE SOURCES.
• To book a room with us you must be the age of 21
• Any cancellation within the 72 hour window is a full charge - cancellation request MUST BE IN WRITING at reservations@usonianinn.com
• Cancellation outside the 72 hours window is in the amount of your deposit that was retained with the initial booking. (Any time cancellation entails you forfeit the amount deposit that was retained within the initial booking, no amount is refundable at any time.)
• On the spot cancellation is full charge. (if not for emergency reason) for same day notification the stay is charged in full.
• Incidentals - minimum fee charge per occurrence is $250 or the cost of goods replacement
• Once you booked a room you are bound by our terms and conditions. It's your responsibility to read and be familiar with our House Rules and follow.
***Special Event Weekends, Holidays (inquire within is a MUST), Groups and Weddings, 3 or more nights bookings REQUIRE 50% deposit as a non refundable amount and 3 weeks CANCELLATION NOTICE.
***-Once the commitment is made to hold room for groups everyone must call in and book their own room within 30 days from the date of the agreement or ASAP whichever is shorter in time length.
Your credit card will be charged the remainder of 50% within the 72 hour mark or a day or prior to your arrival, unless you can select to pay in full in advance.
*** Winter Weather Policy: the house rule applies: it reads: the deposit is non refundable. IT IS HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO READ OUR HOUSE RULES AS WELL
