Cancellation policy for accommodation
Regular cancellation: Should you wish to cancel your booking, written notification must be received from the lead name of the booking as soon as possible. The following charges will apply from the date on which written notice is received:
Up to 6 weeks before arrival date: We keep your 20% deposit
Within 6 weeks before arrival date: We keep 100% of payment.  

Cancellation due to Coronavirus:

Up to 20 days before arrival date: A cancellation charge of €50.00 will be payable to cover administration costs.
Within 20 days before arrival date: may reschedule booking free of charge.
If new dates cannot be arranged between the guest & VIDA BOA LODGE, the amount paid will be converted into a voucher, valid for 1 year.
Valid reasons for COVID cancellation are border closure and prevention of travel by the Government. Proof of the reason is necessary.  

Force Majeure:
 In the unlikely event that the accommodation is rendered uninhabitable beyond our control (adverse weather conditions, earthquake, epidemic etc.), liability will be limited to a refund of monies paid for accommodation only.
Termos e Condições

By booking your stay or any other services with Vida Boa Lodge, you agree to all of our terms and conditions and will be further on referred to as Client, Customer, Guest or You. Vida Boa Lodge is referred to as "we", "us", "our", "VIDA BOA LODGE."
A client is responsible for reviewing thoroughly all booking and/or confirmation details and notifying VIDA BOA LODGE immediately should any errors or discrepancies arise. 

Check-In/ Check-Out Policies
We offer the following check-in/out times and policies.
Check-In: from 15h00 - 19h00 
Check-Out: until 11h00 
If guests require an early or later check-in or a late check-out, please let us know as we will try to accommodate this where possible. Luggage storage is available, and guests may use facilities until the room is ready or until departure time. 

Booking Process & Payment
Guests shall request Bed & Breakfast bookings through our bookings system. Group booking, promotions, camps/retreats / special weeks shall be requested via email or WhatsApp.
To confirm bookings, VIDA BOA LODGE requires the payment of a deposit of 20% of the total amount. The remaining balance must be paid 6 weeks before arrival. If you are booking for a stay within the next 6 weeks, full payment must be made upon booking. VIDA BOA LODGE reserves the right to cancel a booking where full payment is not received within time.
When one person (lead person) makes a reservation on behalf of a group, they confirm the authority to make the contract on behalf of everybody within the group. The lead guest must ensure that all group members are aware of and accept these Terms & Conditions. 

Payment methods
We accept three payment methods: Cash, Paypal or Bank transfer. If you opt for PayPal, use the friends & family option to avoid the fees.
If paying via PayPal or a bank transfer, please use your surname as a reference so that we know where the money has come from!
Once we acknowledge the payment, we will send you a confirmation via email with the details of your stay. Please note: We currently do not accept payment by card for bookings or at Vida Boa Lodge.

General Rules
Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards other guests and show respect towards VIDA BOA LODGE property. If the client's behaviour is deemed unruly, VIDA BOA LODGE reserves the right to terminate the client's stay without any refund. 
The accommodation must be left clean & tidy at the end of the rental period.
Should you or any member of your group be responsible for ANY breakages, loss or damage of any item of VIDA BOA LODGE, please ensure that this is reported to a member of staff as soon as possible so that we can rectify it for the next occupants. If necessary, extra charges for damage and additional cleaning will be charged. 

VIDA BOA LODGE is a hosted Lodge with staff living on-site.
All food & drinks to be consumed at VIDA BOA LODGE must be purchased on-site by guests.
At VIDA BOA LODGE, we offer a fully stocked outdoor bar and a 24hr honesty bar.
We provide breakfast daily included in your stay.
Lunch & Dinner are available at an extra cost upon request.
Guests do NOT have access to the kitchen or refrigerator space.
It is not permitted to smoke inside the Lodge. Smoking is only allowed in smoking areas.
As VIDA BOA LODGE is located in a residential area, guests must respect our neighbours regarding noise levels, especially late at night. 

Drugs
Drugs are strictly forbidden at VIDA BOA LODGE and could result in an immediate termination of our services without any refund. 

Prices
VIDA BOA LODGE may increase or reduce the prices of unsold products & services or correct mistakes in pricing at any time before your booking is confirmed. All prices are quoted in Euros. Prices may be subject to change if the circumstances necessitate. Price changes do not affect already confirmed bookings, and a client has the right to receive services at the rates stated in the booking confirmation. 

Deposits
For the use of lockers in the dorm rooms, a €50.00 returnable deposit, in cash, is required upon check-in.
Beach towels are available to rent for €3.00 a day + a €15.00 (cash) returnable deposit.
On large group bookings, we require an additional €150.00 cleaning fee plus a €350.00 breakage deposit which is returned within 21 days of your departure if no damage occurs during your stay. 

Liability / Insurance
The use of Vida Boa Lodge & amenities is offered on the condition that they are used entirely at the occupant's own risk. Travel insurance is compulsory under EC law. It is the client's sole responsibility to prepare all necessary valid documents(passport, visa, ID, driving license, insurance etc.) prior to the trip. VIDA BOA LODGE does not hold any responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury, however, caused whether to personal items/belongings or an individual. 

VIDA BOA LODGE does not hold any liability for errors, cancellations of or changes to its services/parties (e.g. hire car companies, activities) over which we have no control (severe weather conditions, natural disaster etc.) We reserve the right to decide whether beach conditions, weather or other factors make a specific activity unsafe and can terminate this activity at any time for any reason. Should we be forced to cancel an activity, we will do our best to reschedule or compensate for it. 

Transportation
VIDA BOD LODGE can provide transportation for clients either through third parties or our own minibus. However, the client uses transportation services at their own risk. 

Photos, Videos and Text materials
By booking services with VIDA BOA LODGE, the client agrees to be photographed and recorded during activities and their stay at VIDA BOA LODGE. The client is also granting the use of image rights. They permit the use of such materials for promotional and advertising purposes of VIDA BOA LODGE in its own media (website, social media) and those of partners (online booking platforms) without further notice and agreement.     

VIDA BOA LODGE expects you to be very happy with the accommodation & amenities provided. However, if any complaints arise during your stay, you must report this immediately to a staff member for us to be able to try and resolve any problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. We are not responsible for compensation for any matter that was not brought to our attention during your stay.
