Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur, and therefore, we offer a rescheduling and cancellation policy that seeks to balance flexibility for our guests and the operational viability of Caboclos. Below, we detail the conditions for cancellations and rescheduling, noting that the policy is valid regardless of the reason for the cancellation.
Rescheduling Policy:
The guest may reschedule their stay if the request is made up to 10 days before the check-in date. Upon rescheduling, 90% of the total amount paid will be converted into credit for purchasing a new package, valid for 12 months from the date of the rescheduling request. The remaining 10% of the amount paid will be retained as a penalty. If the new package has a higher price than the generated credit, the difference must be paid at the time of the new reservation. If the new package has a lower price than the generated credit, there will be no refund of the difference. The new stay date will depend on availability at Caboclos. If there is no availability on the first desired date, the guest must request other dates, and it will not be possible to refund the amounts paid.
Cancellation Policy:
If rescheduling is not possible, the guest may request the cancellation of the purchase according to the detailed policy below. All percentages below refer to the total value of the contracted package.
Cancellation up to 07 calendar days from the date of purchase: Full refund within 07 business days, except for transaction fees.
Cancellation up to 30 days before the start date of the trip: 20% penalty of the total package value and refund of the remaining balance of the amount paid within 30 business days.
Cancellation up to 08 days before the start date of the trip: 40% penalty of the total package value and refund of the remaining balance of the amount paid within 30 business days.
Cancellation with 07 or fewer days before the start date of the trip or no-show: 80% penalty of the total package value and refund of the remaining balance of the amount paid within 30 business days.
Suspension of Caboclos activities due to force majeure:
In situations of force majeure, such as natural disasters, severe weather problems, or other unpredictable events that are beyond our control and result in the suspension of activities at Caboclos House Ecolodge, the amount paid by the guest will not be lost. In these cases, the amount paid will be converted into credit, which can be used to book any other package offered by Caboclos.
Validity: The credit will be valid for 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of the suspension of activities.
Availability: The use of the credit is subject to the availability of packages in the desired period by the guest.
Important: Caboclos is not responsible for refunds or compensations related to airline tickets or other travel costs not directly related to accommodation. This means that if the trip is affected by a force majeure event, airline tickets and other external costs are the responsibility of the guest.
Check-in/Check-out Policy
To ensure our guests can make the most of their time, the regular transfer to the lodge is scheduled for the morning, and the return transfer is scheduled for the afternoon.
Upon arriving at the lodge in the morning, guests will go through an initial identification process and fill out the necessary forms. However, accommodation check-in can only be completed at the stipulated time, as we need enough time to clean the rooms after the previous guests check-out.
To ensure a smooth and well-organized experience, we have detailed our check-in and check-out policy below, including essential information and procedures:
Check-in:
Check-in Time: 13:00
Check-in Procedure:
Identification: All guests must present a valid identification document (ID, driver's license, or passport) at check-in.

Check-out Procedure:
Room Vacating: Guests must vacate the room and return the key to the reception by 09:00. Use of common areas in Caboclos is allowed before check-in and after check-out, but the room must be available for cleaning.
Consumption Check: The reception team will check the consumption of minibar items, if applicable, and other extra expenses (drinks, additional tours, etc.).
Payment of Extras: Any consumption or additional services used during the stay must be paid at check-out.
Return of Items: Any items borrowed from Caboclos (such as extra towels, diving equipment, etc.) must be returned in good condition.

Other Considerations:
Luggage: We offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, so guests can make the most of their time in the region.
Transportation: The regular transfer schedules between Manaus and Caboclos are fixed. On the first day, transportation leaves Manaus around 08:30, and on the last day, it departs from Caboclos at 15:00. It is important to note that the transfer follows a route to pick up other guests, so there may be a margin of delay due to traffic or other situations. For greater convenience, we offer an additional transportation service by prior arrangement at any time between 07:00 and 16:00 for an extra R$ 250.00.
