Morel Executive Suites opened its doors in December 2017. My wife and I had decided to tear down the 100-year-old building. Since I couldn’t bring myself to renovate, so we decided to draw up a business plan and look for alternatives. Short terms rentals seemed to fit ours needs, so we started with one suite (#4) to give us an idea as to the viability of the project. After a few months and lots of positive feedback from our guests, we decided to transform the whole building. We opened the other 4 suites in July 2018 and 2 more in the building next door (55 Emmerson) in May 2019. Morel Executive Suites now boast 7 of the best-rated suites in the area. Although, the remodel took longer and cost more than planned, we are still proud to have saved the 100-year-old building.The name Morel comes from the family who built the house in 1918. My father had bought the house in the 1980’s from one of the Morel sisters who had been born and raised at 51 Emmerson St. We have referred to it as "The Morel Building" ever since.

Terms and Conditions
Morel Executive Suites has strict No Smoking and No Pets policies.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the suites. A cleaning and disinfecting fee of $500 will be charged to your card if you violate this policy.
- Pets prohibited under any circumstances. A $400 cleaning and sanitizing fee will be charged to your card if you violate this policy.
- Using the second bedroom when booking using the Last minute one bedroom option will negate the promotional price and you will be charged the full price of the suite.
