Reservation Deposit and Fees
All reservations require a deposit in the amount of the first-night stay at the time of booking. The balance is collected 14 days prior to the arrival date, at which time the full amount becomes non-refundable. In addition, a $250.00 security deposit is required to book and is returned within 7 days after the house is inspected. A portion of the security deposit can be withheld if there is any damage, missing items, or violations or if the checkout list is not completed. The cleaning and amenities fee is $250.

Minimum Stay Requirements
Reservations require a two to three night minimum based on availability and season.

Cancellations
Cancellations can be made up to 30 days prior to the arrival date for a refund of the initial deposit. Cancellations made up to 14 days prior will not be charged the remaining balance, but the initial deposit is non-refundable. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us well in advance. There are no refunds for shortened stays or early departures.

Check-In Policy
Prior to your arrival you will be provided with a 4 digit access code for the lockbox.

Late check-outs and early check-ins:
Late check-outs and early check-ins are not available. Unauthorized late check-outs will be subject to a $200 fee.

Check-out Checklist:
Prior to departing, we kindly request guests to go over our check-out checklist. A reminder e-mail will be sent the day before departure. A portion of the security deposit can be withheld if the check-out checklist is not completed.

General Policies

House Rights
Should any action by guests be deemed inappropriate by Lokal, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention by the neighbors, Lokal reserves the right to request that the guests vacate the cabin without refund.

Occupancy
Only confirmed number of guests are allowed on the property. We do not allow more than 8 guests at any time.

No Party Policy
Lokal enforces a strict No Party Policy for the comfort and security of our guests and neighbors. Excessive noise will not be tolerated at any time. Should guest violate this policy, a warning will be issued. A second violation will result in immediate eviction from the cabin without refund.

Kids and General Safety
Lokal Aframe is located in the woods and is not childproof. Adults must keep a constant check on children whenever they are not participating in an organized activity, especially around the beach, bonfires and hot tub.

Security
For guest security, please lock all windows and doors when leaving the cabin. An outdoor security camera is located in the front of the cabin.

Mail and Packages
Lokal can not accept any on-site mail or packages.

100% Smoke-Free
Lokal is a 100% smoke-free facility and does not permit smoking of any kind. Any evidence of smoking in the cabin will result in a $1,000 fee. This includes smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, diffusers, hookahs, incense, cigars and candle burning.

Pets
Guests are welcome to have two well behaved dogs maximum for $100 (sorry, no puppies or cats). Dogs are not allowed on furniture or carpet! Evidence will result in a reduction of the security deposit.

Photography
Commercial photography and filming are prohibited on property without prior approval from Hotel Management. A $1000 fee will be charged if violated.

Trash and Recycling
If you are a guest during this time, please take out garbage on Thursday evening and bring cans back in after it is picked up on Friday. Recycling is every other week - please see link for more info:

Open Fires
Fires may never be left unattended. Absolutely no fires on the deck. Fires must be put out before departing.

Hot Tub
The hot tub is available to use all year round. Please refrain from wearing body lotion, oil or sunscreen as it can affect the filter and result in a slimy film on the spa walls. In addition, please use spa towels only when using the hot tub, not bath towels. Instructions on how to use the hot tub can be found here.

No Swimming
For guest safety, please do not swim in the river located off of our beach. Lokal is not liable for any damage or injury to any persons or property resulting from either their authorized or their unauthorized use of the river.

Furniture and Room Furnishings
All furniture, furnishings and kitchenware must be returned to it’s original placement prior to checking out. Violations will result in an additional fee.

Damage
Upon booking we require a credit card on hold for any damages beyond normal use of our amenities incurred during the guest's stay. The guest authorizes Lokal to charge the cost of repair of such damage or loss of such items caused by themselves, or any person for whom they are responsible. Such damage would include the cost of cleaning bedding and upholstery, and fumigation if the guest smokes in a room, and/or damage to furniture, rugs, walls and fixtures as well as replacing missing items such as bedding, towels, furnishings, kitchenware, etc.
