Harbourside Inn built in 1888, was designed by famed and local architect Fred L Savage in the classic "shingle style" . The Inn has 14 guest rooms, each room varying in decor as well as accommodations. All rooms have private baths, and many feature a working fireplace and fully equipped kitchenette. The inn is located on a wooded hillside within walking distance to the village of Northeast Harbor. Owned and operated by the Sweet family since 1978.

Property and Cancelation Policies :
- Any cancellation must be made 30 days prior to your confirmed arrival for a refund of your reservation less a $50 cancellation fee per room. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged for the reservation in full. You are always welcome to send a friend or family member in your place.

Rates
- Rates as shown or quoted over the phone are based on per night double occupancy and are subject to the 9% Maine Lodging Tax. All rooms accommodate two persons. Additional guests are subject to a $25 per person, per night rate increase, only available for select rooms. Advance reservations required. None of our rooms can accommodate four or more people. Our online booking system will allow you to enter 3 guests only when reserving a room that can accommodate three people. For assistance with making a reservation for three people, please give us a call.
- The total amount of the reservation is due at the time of booking. Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. We will send confirmation of your reservation upon receipt of your payment.
- Accommodation charges are due, using an acceptable credit card, at check-in.
- Customer will be notified of any added fees (damages) if applicable, and will be charged to the card on file.
- Check-in is between 3:00 and 8:00 pm, but early and late check-ins can usually be accommodated with advanced notice. Check-out time is 11:00am. Departing guests are welcome to linger in our common rooms and on our grounds.
- The Inn is 100% smoke-free. A $250.00 cleaning surcharge will be imposed to any room where guests have smoked with disregard for our policy.
- While accidents do happen, guests will be financially responsible for damage due to gross negligence.
- We do not allow pets in the Inn. We are happy to recommend a nearby kennel for boarding.
