Property and Cancelation Policies :
A first nights deposit is required to reserve a room.
For Returning Guests - Peak Season (June, July, August. and September).
A 1 night deposit plus taxes is required to reserve for next year. Plan to reserve within 24 hours of initial check in to avoid disappointment as rooms fill up fast. The deposit is refundable (less a $25 processing fee) only if your stay is cancelled before December 30th. After Dec 30th there will be no date changes or refunds. The balance remaining will be charged at check in.

Check in
Check in is are from 4pm . Please contact the office in advance at 1-250-495-6035 to arrange a check in later than 8pm.
Check Out
Check out time is 10am. Please lock the door upon departure and leave the keys in the drop box outside the office. There will be a $100 fee for unreturned keys.
Reservations
Your reservation at Poplars Motel is confirmed with an email upon credit card payment. Your reservation is guaranteed until the day of arrival. After that time the room is no longer guaranteed and may be reassigned.
Poplars Motel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the required deposit. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after canceling your booking.

NO Pets allowed in summer months.
Housekeeping
Room refreshes will not be offered during stays. Should you need fresh towels or linen, please call the front desk at 1-250-495-6035. For longer stays housekeeping service may be available for a fee.
Do not dry your clothing or towels on the railings. Keep decks and walkways clear. Avoid using hand towels for messy clean ups and bath towels on the beach. We have cleaning cloths in each room and beach towels are available in the office.
Smoking Policy
Breathe easy, Poplars Motel is a non-smoking property. This applies to both traditional smoking methods and all electronic delivery systems, including vapes, vape pens, electronic cigarettes, pipes, and any variations of the foregoing regardless of the product’s name. Any smoking in the rooms will result in a $200 room cleaning fee. Please use designated smoking areas reserved for smokers.
Parking
One vehicle per unit is provided for registered guests. Poplars Motel does not take responsibility or accept liability for damage, accident or loss to your vehicle or personal property.
Liability
The Poplars Motel is privately owned
The Poplars Motel will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests or the loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.
Severance
Bulling, harassment or intimidation of guests or staff will not be tolerated at the Poplars Motel. Guests will be asked to leave the premises immediately if this occurs Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
Basic Rules
Only registered guests after 10:00 pm.
Please no running on upper decks or slamming of doors.
Avoid drying clothes or towels on the railings.
Keep decks and walkways clear.
Clear belongings from beach and grass each evening.
Please wash dishes before checkout.
