Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and for special requests.
Check-in: Begins at 3:00 PM. Honu Cove guests access their room using a unique 4-digit door code, so guests may arrive at any time after 3:00 PM. The guest will receive their door code at 3:00 PM on their arrival day, provided that all reservation charges have been paid.
Check-out: 11:00 AM.
In order to provide exceptional and on-time service to all of our guests, we ask that you please observe our 11:00 AM Check-Out time. However, if you need to stay longer, Honu Cove does offer a Late Check-Out option subject to availability. It is strongly suggested that guests purchase Late Check-Out in advance of their departure day for substantial savings. We will do our best to accommodate you when possible. If guests have not checked out by 11:00 AM, and have not made prior arrangements with Honu Cove for a Late Check-Out, a Late Check-Out Fee will be applied to the guests bill in the amount of $45.00. Departures after 1:00 PM will be billed at the full one-night reservation cost for the applicable room as of 1:00 PM on the departure day.
If your personal property (i.e. luggage, clothing, etc.) is in your room on departure day after 11:00 AM and you are (1) not present, (2) have not formally checked out or arranged for Late Check-Out, and (3) cannot be reached by phone, Honu Cove reserves the right to remove your personal property from your reserved room at Honu Cove's sole discretion. Honu Cove will store your personal property if permitted by applicable laws and regulations for up to 48 hours. Such property may be retrieved upon full payment of all past due balances. After 48 hours, any stored property will be discarded.
We are ADA compliant on ground level. Our property is wheelchair accessible. ADA compliant smoke detectors are installed. All ADA Compliant features of our hotel are clearly advertised on our homepage and throughout our website.
We ask that you please refrain from smoking in your room and in all common areas except our designated smoking areas. Designated smoking areas are marked for guest convenience. Please contact management if you need assistance locating designated smoking areas. Smoking in guest rooms may cause lingering odors which will require additional cleaning services. Failure to observe our no-smoking policies will result in an additional cleaning fee of $150.00 being added to the guests bill and charged to the method of payment on file.
Once a booking has been processed, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation email that outlines a summary of your booking. This email will also include important information that we urge you to read.
All reservations are subject to a $150.00 damage deposit, which must be paid upon arrival. This damage deposit is fully refundable so long as there is no damage to hotel property caused by guest. By accepting a room at Honu Cove, you agree that the Hotel Manager is entitled to retain some or all of the damage deposit if, in the manager's sole discretion, damage has been caused to hotel property by a hotel guest. Guests at Honu Cove are responsible for and liable for damage to the hotel or hotel property if the guest causes the damage, either intentionally or by negligence or unintentional damage. Damage fees will be charged per the Schedule of Damage Charges and Add-Ons posted in the hotel office and available for review in your welcome guide. Repair or replacement costs associated with guest damage or negligence, which are not outlined in the aforementioned schedule, may be added to a guest's bill at the Manager's discretion. By purchasing a reservation with the hotel, guests accept our policies and voluntarily agree to pay for the cost of repair or replacement of any damage caused by the guest during their stay.
Guests are strongly encouraged to purchase a Damage Insurance from the hotel to prevent fees for accidental damage to the room or hotel property from being added to their bill.
By securing your reservation and providing a credit card you accept the terms of our Cancellation Policy.
Any balance of your total room cost including taxes is due on check-in at the hotel. The hotel accepts credit cards and bank issues debit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express). The hotel does not accept personal checks, pre-paid gift cards, or cash.
Maximum number of guests are advertised for each room type. For rooms that are occupied by more than the maximum number of people, there will be a fee of $28.00 per extra person per night. Honu Cove reserves the right to restrict occupancy to the advertised maximum occupancy per room at management's sole discretion.
No pets are allowed at any time for any reason. Violation of Honu Cove's pet policy will void reservation immediately without refund, and a $100.00 Cleaning Charge.
Cancellations or modifications of reservations without restrictions are free of charge up to 24 hours before Check-In begins on the date of arrival. Should you cancel or modify within 24 hours before arrival, or in case you do not show up, 100% of the reservation cost will be charged. Non-refundable reservations cannot be modified or cancelled for a refund. The total costs for all room nights, including taxes (if applicable) will be charged directly after your non-refundable reservation is made. Please note that the credit card which is used to make the reservation and a valid photo ID with matching name needs to be shown upon check-in. The name on the reservation needs to be the same as the name on the credit card and matching photo ID. If this is not possible please contact the hotel in advance for a third party authorization form. We do not issue refunds for flight cancellations as an exception to our cancellation policy, and we encourage guests to purchase Travel Insurance to protect against loss associated with flight cancellations.
Any changes to your reservation are subject to availability. Shortening your stay will be treated as a cancellation for the days removed from your stay, and will be subject to our cancellation policy. Refunds are not issued for early checkouts.
The limit of number of guests per room is a matter of safety, and we take our guest’s safety quite seriously. Failure to observe and adhere to our occupancy policies may result in termination of your reservation without refund at the discretion of the management. The hotel is not liable for any other costs, evacuation or inconveniences caused by a tropical storm or hurricane.
The hotel and its employees and contractors shall not be liable for any damages caused as a result of, or in connection with:
-Any delays or cancellations.
-In the event of a traveler becoming ill during a vacation, or having to cut their vacation short, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler's responsibility.
Honu Cove will not be responsible for and will not offer refunds due to:
-political or labor problems
-utility or internet outages
-mechanical maintenance or construction difficulties
Honu Cove will not be responsible for and will not offer refunds for: any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever resulting from events beyond our or a supplier's reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of Nature (hurricanes, mudslides, earthquakes), flight cancellations or changes, strikes, labor disputes, lockouts, threats or acts of terrorism, acts of war or declared war, hurricanes or weather conditions, diseases or epidemics/pandemics, novel or unexpected conditions, and local laws, or absence of travel documents, visas, passports, health certificates where required. Honu Cove is not responsible for advisement of travel and entry requirements.
Any retail purchases are collected from the payment method on file at time of purchase. Items missing from in-room retail stations upon check-out are the responsibility of the guest. Guests must inform management of changes in payment method.
