Age restrictions: The minimum age for reserving a room and checking in at the property is 21+
Parking Fees: A daily fee for onsite, self-parking applies at check-in
Occupancy Tax: On May 1, 2025, the City of San Diego increased the Transient Occupancy Tax to 12.75%

Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm. Please contact the hotel in advance if you plan to arrive after the front office closes.  We will inform you of our after-hours check-in procedure. Check-out is 11:00 am. 
Deposit Policy: We charge your credit card the morning of your arrival for 1 night's room & tax. We collect the balance, along with applicable parking fees, and a $250 security deposit at check-in, on a per room/reservation basis.  The physical credit card supplied for the reservation and a valid ID in the guest's name on the reservation must be presented upon check-in.   
Occupancy: Our maximum occupancy for all room types is (4) persons. However, our price is based on up to 2 adults & 2 kids (12 years & under).  Additional guests over the age of 13 are an extra $15 per person, per day. Children 12 and under are free and are included in the occupancy count. 
No Smoking Policy: We are a 100% smoke-free (smoking, vaping, and marijuana) property, which includes interior hallways and the pool area. A $250 non-compliance fee per occurrence will be applied to your final bill.  Smoking OUTSIDE the facility must occur at least 20 ft from any entrance or guest room per CA Government Code 7597.  
Pet Policy:  No pets are permitted in the rooms or on the hotel property. There will be a $250 non-compliance fee added to your stay. We do follow ADA regulations and welcome service animals.  Upon making your reservation, you must inform the hotel if you have a service animal.   
Quiet time is from 9 am to 9 pm.  Please be considerate of noise levels outside of this time frame.  We do not allow parties in our guest rooms or our pool area.  Failure to observe the quiet period and/or acting in a disruptive manner may result in an eviction from the hotel without a refund.   
Damaged/Stolen Items: We love our property.  We dedicate time and resources to add custom touches to every room, including custom furniture, amenities, and linen. Guests are responsible for any damage to the room that occurs during their stay. Extremely soiled linen, stolen goods, or damage to furniture or carpet will result in additional charges based on the amount of damage that occurred.   
Liability: The Beach Haven is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to any items in your guest room or vehicle. Upon check-in, guests agree to personal liability for all room damage and other charges associated with their stay at the hotel.
