Property Information

Set in the welcoming village of Morfa Nefyn, along the idyllic Llyn Peninsula in North Wales, Bryn Noddfa is a Victorian building originally intended as the family home of a Captain who was sadly lost at sea before it was complete. It has a long history as a guest house as his widow amended the plans to supplement her modest pension. For more of the history, please see the brief history on our website.

There are ten en-suite bedrooms, over three floors, including two singles, a family room which will sleep up to four people, and the rest are doubles or twin rooms. One of the twin rooms is on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. The other bedrooms are on the first and second floors, accessed by stairs. If you have any accessibility concerns please contact us by phone or email to make a booking so that we can ensure a suitable room is available.

The village Morfa Nefyn is very popular with both local Welsh speaking families and with holiday makers, for the same reasons: that it retains the character and amenities of an unspoilt Welsh coastal village, whilst its unique location provides easy access to the rest of the peninsula.

Bryn Noddfa provides several amenities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay, including dining facilities where guests can enjoy meals made with locally sourced ingredients. There are common areas such as a lounge and pool table where guests can relax and unwind.

The area is perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, golfing, and beachcombing. The nearby Nefyn & District Golf Club is a notable attraction for golf enthusiasts. The Llŷn Coastal Path offers breathtaking walks along the coastline, and the nearby Porthdinllaen beach is renowned for its beauty and the famous Ty Coch Inn.

Bryn Noddfa is known for its peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, whilst also a thriving centre for local village life. The property is family and dog-friendly and offers a welcoming environment for all guests.

The village of Morfa Nefyn itself is a close-knit community with local shops, pubs, and cultural experiences that reflect the rich heritage of the region. The area is steeped in Welsh culture, providing a unique and authentic experience for visitors. Expect to hear Welsh spoken everywhere you go.

Overall, Bryn Noddfa in Morfa Nefyn is a delightful destination that combines historical charm, modern comfort, and natural beauty, making it an excellent choice for a relaxing and memorable stay on the Llŷn Peninsula.
