INDIVIDUAL ROOMS
If 1 or 2 rooms are reserved under this reservation, in order to CANCEL FREE of CHARGE, the guest must notify the Cornerstone Motel in writing or by voicemail 48 hours prior to 3:00pm of the date of arrival. If the reservation is cancelled after the 48 hrs period, the reservation is considered to be FULLY COMMITTED/GUARANTEED and the guest is responsible for the payment of the ENTIRE reservation.
However, if the reservation made is for a GROUP (defined as 3 or more rooms), then in order to CANCEL FREE of CHARGE, the guest must notify the Cornerstone Motel in writing or by voicemail 2 weeks prior to 3:00pm on date of arrival. Should the guest decide to cancel the reservation between the 2 week period and 48 hrs before check-in, there will be a 1 night stay charged for every room cancelled using the credit card on file. If the reservation is cancelled after the 48 hrs period, the reservation is considered to be FULLY COMMITED/GUARRANTEED and the guest is responsible for the payment of the ENTIRE reservation.
PRE-APPROVAL PROCESS
Cornerstone Management reserves the RIGHT TO PRE-APPROVE the credit card that was used to secure the booking 48 hrs in advance of arrival. Should the credit card fail to be pre-approved as required, management will make a reasonable effort to try and contact the guest using the profile information provided at the time of booking. If the guest does not respond or can not be contacted, the guests reservation may be cancelled without notice.
Cancellations should be sent to reservations@cornerstonemotel.com and the timestamp on the email will be used to verify the time of requests.

Terms and Conditions
Guests acknowledge the rural nature of the motel and voluntarily accept the risks associated with the use of motel facilities.
Motel ownership is not responsible for:(1) any injury suffered by a motel guest in the course of use of motel facilities; and/or
(2) lost, stolen or damaged personal property.
Guests hereby agree to reimburse motel ownership for the costs of any damage caused to motel facilities by anyone within their party..
Although much care has been taken to ensure complete and full accuracy in all room amenities and descriptions, all rooms are subject to minor variations and differences.
Should any party bring extra guests into their room that were not registered overnight, added charges will be made to that guests credit card. Only registered guests are allowed in rooms overnight.
ALL ROOMS ARE NON-SMOKING. If you do smoke, you must be at least 30" away from any building and all cigarette butts must be placed in proper containers. Should any guest smoke in any room a $250 (+ applicable taxes) cleaning charge will be added to the guests bill and credit card.
NO PETS are allowed on the property or in the rooms. Should any guest have any animals in any rooms, a $200 (+ applicable taxes) cleaning charge will be added to the guests bill and credit card.
NO ADDED COOKING APPLIANCES WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM MANAGEMENT. The added power requirements for appliances such as cooking ovens, grills, kettles and burners may overload the circuits and affect the clean smell in the rooms.
THE COOKING OF SHELLFISH AND FRESH FISH IS NOT ALLOWED in guest rooms and if done may constitute a thorough cleaning and deodorization of the room at a cost to the guest of $200 (+ applicable taxes).
All TOWELS IN BATHROOMS ARE FOR BODY USE ONLY and not to be used for cleaning personal items. In the event a guest decides to use the towels for uses other than this, a minimum charge of $20/towel (+ applicable taxes) will be added onto the room bill and charged to the guests credit card. Rags to wash personal items can be obtained for FREE at the office should they be required.
Respect for other guests with respect to noise is required by all guests no matter what time of day it is. Any excessive noise after 10:00pm will not be tolerated and the guest and their party may be asked to leave the premises.
Management reserves the right to remove anyone/everyone in the guests party from the property that does not adhere to any of the above conditions and NO REFUNDS whatsoever will be provided should that occur.
Should management or any of the staff request a guest to adhere to other generally understood rules, the guest is asked to comply immediately and then should they feel the request is not warranted, take it up with the owners for resolution.
Check out time is 10:00 am on the day of departure. Late departure may be available for an added charge provided there is availability of a room. lease check with the registration office for arrangements.
