StarDome Lodge is a mountain resort in Ollantaytambo, Peru that introduces travelers to the beauty and healing offered by Peruvian culture and spirituality. IMPORTANT: The drive to the dome is an adventure in itself via a private road that only our drivers may access so the service is complimentary from Ollantaytambo upon check in and check out. CANCELLATION POLICY Once areservation is confirmed, please notify us by phone or email of anycancellation of the booking at least 30 days before arrival in order to avoid acharge of 1 night’s stay to be imposed. Deposits are non-refundable. No shows will be charged one night’sroom rate to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.
Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of StarDome Lodge in Peru. StarDome Lodge is located at: Calle Convencion 126 Olltantaytambo – Cusco – Peru.
By accessing any StarDome Lodge product or service, you hereby accept the following terms and conditions.
APPLICATION FOR ACCOMMODATION CONTRACT:
A Guest who intends to enter into an Accommodation Contract with StarDome Lodge, shall notify StarDome Lodge of the following particulars: - Passport information
- Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival.
- Accommodation charges – Guests will be responsible for a nonrefundable 50% deposit to reserve their selected accommodation and associated programming on or before 30 days before the arrival date. The remainder of the total balance due will be charged upon the Guest's checkout and will be subject to any additional fees accrued during their time at StarDome Lodge. Taxes, service charges and other levies are additional wherever applicable.
- A Service Fee of 10% will be charged based on the subtotal of all products and services rendered at StarDome Lodge.
- The acceptable methods of payment at StarDome Lodge are limited to major credit cards. It is important to note that StarDome Lodge will not accept checks, money orders, or any other forms of payment than the above-mentioned.
STARDOME LODGE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE AND/OR TERMINATE GUEST CONTRACTS BASED ON THE FOLLOWING:- The Guest for accommodation does not conform with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions;
- The Guest is under the age of 18.
- The Guest possesses illegal substances on the StarDome Lodge property.
- The Guest engages in disorderly conduct as deemed by the StarDome Lodge administration.
- The Guest does not adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- The Guest verbally or physically harasses or intimidates other Guests or StarDome Lodge staff.
- The Guest engages in destructive behaviour and/or damages other Guests’ or StarDome Lodge property.
- Any other acts deemed inappropriate by StarDome Lodge management.
TRANSPORTATION POLICY:- StarDome Lodge offers complimentary transportation to and from Ollantaytambo (limited to one round trip per day per room), as well as transportation to and from other locations for an additional fee to be applied to the closing balance of the Guest accommodation contract. Please note that this service is included in each accommodation contract.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT POLICY:Check-in:- StarDome Lodge invites Guests to arrive on the day of their reservation starting at 2 PM, (14:00). Should Guests arrive past 10 PM (22:00) a late check-in fee of USD$50 will be charged – please note that this may be adjusted on a case-by-case basis should the Guest provide StarDome Lodge with a minimum of 7 days’ notice of late arrival.
Check-out:- StarDome Lodge requires Guests to check out on the last day of their accommodation contract no later than 11 AM (11:00). Guests may checkout between the hours of 5 AM to 11 AM.
- Should Guests require a (late check-out) this must be arranged at check-in of Guest reservation.
- Should Guests not adhere to StarDome Lodge’s check-out policy, a late check-out fee of USD$50 will be applied to the closing balance of the Guest accommodation contract.
DAMAGES TO PERSONAL AND PRIVATE PROPERTY:- A damage deposit of USD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected as a cash payment. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full, in cash, subject to an inspection of the property.
- The Guest shall compensate StarDome Lodge for any damage(s) caused due to intent or negligence. The damages will be paid in full by the Guest as part of the closing balance of their Guest’s accommodation contract.
- StarDome Lodge reserves the right to file damage claims up to 30 days after a Guest has completed their Guest accommodation contract. These fees will be invoiced directly to a Guest and will adhere to the StarDome Lodge payment remittance schedule. Should any member of the StarDome Lodge staff damage any personal Guest property, StarDome Lodge will deduct the value of the damages from the total balance of the Guest accommodation contract. Please note, that a formal complaint must be filed and investigated by a member of the StarDome management team.
OCCUPANCY AND CHILD POLICYThe maximum occupancy for each room is two adults and one child. Children are defined as persons under the age of 18. Any person over the age of 18 will considered as an adult. Additional adults and/or children will be required to purchase another room or find accommodation elsewhere. MEDICAL EMERGENCY POLICY: In the unlikely event of a medical emergency, StarDome Lodge will contact the local medical facility to take charge of any and all medically related issues. It is important to note, that StarDome Lodge does not cover the expense of any medically related fees accrued by the Guest. The Guest will be responsible for remitting the invoiced amount, prior to the Guest’s checkout.
HOTEL SMOKING POLICY:- StarDome Lodge is a 100% smoke-free building. Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.
- Smoking is not permitted in Guest rooms including balconies and terraces. Any guest found to be smoking in a Guest room will be charged a deep cleaning fee of $200 per day.
STARDOME LODGE IS RELEASED OF LIABILITY: The Guest releases permission to StarDome Lodge, the license of all images, video, and sound recordings in any media for any purpose which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. The Guest agrees that any images and sound recordings may be combined with other images, text and graphics, cropped, altered and modified.
