Property and Cancellation Policies :
Life happens. We get that. Reservations are fully refundable 48 hours prior to check-in. Reservations cancelled within 48 hours prior to check-in are non refundable and will be credited towards a future stay of equal or lesser value. To cancel a reservation, please call us at (906) 341-2710. Cancellations received after 4pm the day prior to check-in will not be refunded or credited, and will be charged in full.

Our Right to Cancel:
We may cancel your reservation if an event outside of our control (including but not limited to industrial action, staff and/or guest health epidemic, explosion, fire, flooding, failure of power and/or water supplies or emergency evacuation) means that we are unable to make your room available to you. In this case we will contact you to let you know as soon as possible and:
  • If you have already paid for your room, we will refund your payment to you.
  • If you have not yet paid for your room, you will not have to make any payment to us.
Terms and Conditions

.Check In and Check Out: 
Check in is from 4pm and check out is before 11am. Early check in or late check out may be available subject to availability. You must be at least 18 years old to make a reservation with us. Anyone under 18 is permitted to stay in the hotel providing a parent or guardian (of 18 years or over) is also staying in the room. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence of age in order to enforce this policy.

Valid ID and Credit/Debit Card must be presented at the time of Check In - We reserve the right to hold up to $50 USD until the time of check out - assuming there are no damages to the room we will release the amount held, or charge further for damages incurred.

Pets:
We are a pet friendly hotel. There is a $25 charge per pet, per stay which is payable on check in. Please advise the motel directly if you are bringing any pets so we can ensure we allocate a suitable room. There is a maximum of two pets per room and the hotel reserves the right to use the security deposit, or to charge the card details held, to cover the cost of any damage to the room or any part of the hotel premises; or to cover the cost of any deep cleaning that is required due to any actions of any pets brought into the hotel. Holiday Motel shall have absolute discretion as to whether to allow a pet entry to the motel or not. Holiday Motel reserves the right to refuse a pet entry to the motel where the size or behavior of the pet is unsuitable or otherwise may present a risk or disturbance to other guests at the motel

Your Right to Cancel:
The cancellation policy varies depending on the type of rate you have booked and the method of booking. Please refer to your original booking confirmation for details. Any cancellation request should be made via your original method of booking, for example through the website used to make your booking or via the phone to the hotel if you made your booking directly with the hotel.

Smoking:
Smoking (including the use of e-cigarettes) is not permitted in any hotel other than in the designated smoking areas outside of the hotel. You must not smoke in any of our hotel rooms or public areas or interfere with our fire detection systems. If you do so, this will be regarded as a breach of the terms and conditions of your stay. Smoking in hotel rooms or public areas will result in a $250 fine. We also reserve the right to terminate your booking and charge your payment card with: (1) the cost of specialist cleaning, (2) repair or replacement of fire detection equipment, (3) the cost of the room for any period it is unusable, and (4) our administrative expenses.

Room Keys:
All room keys must be returned to us on check out.  If a key is not returned, has been lost or has been damaged, we may charge you for a replacement key and/or lock as required.  In the event that a key is not returned after check out we request you to contact the hotel to make arrangements for keys to be returned.

Theft & Willful Damage:
The removal of any item from your hotel room without authorization or the intentional damage to a hotel room is a breach of the terms and conditions of your stay and a criminal offence. If you remove any items from your hotel room or willfully damage the hotel room, this will be regarded as a breach of the terms and conditions of your stay. We reserve the right to terminate your booking, contact the police and charge your payment card with: (1) the cost of replacing any removed item(s), (2) the cost of repairing the room where damaged, (3) the cost of the room for any period it is unusable, and (4) our administrative expenses. We may also instruct a third party to recover these costs on our behalf.

For Safety & Security Reasons.
Guests must not:
  • Use any electrical appliances that may set off the fire alarm system, such as toasters, rice cookers, mini cookers or portable grills.
  • Tamper with or cover any fire alarms or emergency equipment.
  • Cover any electrical heaters so as to create a risk of fire.
  • Store items (personal or otherwise) which could cause damage to the room, or be a risk to the health and safety of our other guests, staff or property.
  • Prevent us (including our maintenance and housekeeping staff) from accessing your room(s) as and when we reasonably require. We reserve the right to change your room allocation at any point during your stay for any reason.
  • Remove, damage or destroy any of our property.
  • Use any WiFi connection to download or access any unlawful, offensive, or obscene material.
  • Cause any disturbance to our other guests or staff; or act in a manner which we determine to be indecent, lewd, harassing, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent, illegal or otherwise objectionable.
  • Smoke anywhere inside any Holiday Motel premises.
If you or your group cause damage or loss of any kind to the hotel or other guests or their property, you (as the person making the booking) will be responsible for that damage or loss and you shall be liable to pay to Holiday Motel on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage or loss. If you or your group cause damage to the hotel, other guests or their property, or otherwise breach any of these terms and conditions,  Holiday Motel reserves the right to:
  • Cancel your reservation(s) with immediate effect and (if appropriate) eject you from our premises.
  • Restrict access to the hotel and main amenity building.
  • Remove your items from the room and hotel and dispose of such items (at no cost and no liability) to a local charity to the extent such items are not collected from us within 14 days of the day of check-out.
  • Retain all sums paid by you and/or charge you the full amount of your reservation.
  • Refuse or cancel future reservations from you; and/or refuse you entry or accommodation at any of our hotels.
Holiday Motel reserves the right to decline or cancel reservations made and stays in progress by those who have previously breached these terms and conditions (as may be updated from time to time), whether the reservation is in that name or not. Holiday Motel will not be liable for any refund or compensation in any of the above circumstances.
