BOUNDARY WATERS RESORT& MARINA RESORT POLICY / HOUSE RULES & RESERVATION AGREEMENT CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. on the date of your arrival. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to check in at Boundary Waters Resort & Marina. A valid government issued photo identification and credit card in the name of the guest registration are required at check-in. CHECKOUT Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. Please checkout with Front Desk so that housekeeping may begin cleaning your room as soon as possible. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY Each of our lodging units has a maximum occupancy listed on our website and brochure. More than the stated maximum occupancy is not allowed without the express permission from Boundary Waters Resort & Marina management. AFTER HOURS CHECK-IN: If you arrive after our office closes, we will put a letter on the office door with your name on it. It will have instructions on how to enter your room. You can then check in the next morning.
SMOKE-FREE
Boundary Waters Resort & Marina does not allow smoking or vaping of any kind inside our buildings. FIREWORKS Fireworks or incendiary devices of any kind are not permitted anywhere on Boundary Waters property, docks, or boats. DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF RESORT PROPERTY
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused(whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room or Boundary Waters property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at Boundary Waters during your stay. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right and you hereby authorize us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to your room or Boundary Waters property during your stay, including and without limitation for all property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fee, cleaning fee, unauthorized pet fee, etc. We will make every effort to keep any damage or repair costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
PETS:
We love pets; however, many of our guests are allergic to animals. As such, we do not allow pets in any of our lodging units, with the exception of our Mallard Point cottage. On our Mallard Point cottage,we allow up to two pets, subject to a cash or personal check deposit of $250 per pet, paid at check-in. Guests must present evidence that your pet has current vaccinations and flea/tick treatment. We hold the pet deposit for the period of your stay, and subject to an inspection of the unit prior to departure,we release the pet deposit back to the guest. Any guest that has an unauthorized pet(s) in the lodging units may be ordered to vacate the premises without refund and may be subject to a $250 cleaning fee.
PARKING:
All vehicle(s) must be listed on the registration at check-in. All vehicles are parked at the risk of the owner. Boundary Waters Resort & Marina shall not assume liability or responsibility for any vehicle, occupants, or contents while operated or parked on the Resort property.
