Each of our 22 individually decorated rooms at the Back Bay Inn has been specifically designed to ensure you comfort, privacy and a total relaxed "at home" feeling. All of our rooms have a king bed (some have an additional full or queen size sofa bed). The rooms in the Main Building look right onto the bay. Second floor rooms have either a balcony or fireplace. Ground floor rooms have private patios and a bay front entrance. We have six dog friendly rooms - two in the main building (room 107, 115), the four in our Garden building.

- CHECK IN: 3 PM / CHECK OUT: 11 AM If arriving outside of office hours after 7pm, please call to make arrangements.
- Our room rates are for 2 guests - additional guests (in rooms that can accommodate more than 2 people) will be charged $35 per person/per night. Children age 1 and under stay free.
- A two-night minimum is required Fri/Sat at this time.
- There is a 12.5% San Luis Obispo County room tax.
- A valid credit card and matching ID is required at Check-in. Cash is only accepted at Check-out.
- Each guest receives a $7 voucher per day for breakfast at Nautical Bean Coffee Shop on our property.
- Back Bay Inn offers a wine reception for guests from 4:30pm-6pm.
- There is a $30 fee per dog, per night with a maximum of 1 dog in 107, 115, 303-306 and the Cabana. Two dogs are allowed in the Bungalow. Dogs may not be left unattended in guest rooms or vehicles on property at any time. In the other rooms only Service animals are welcome as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Please see damage policy below.
- Smoking is not allowed at any time on the Back Bay property. There is a $300 cleaning fee for smoking in a room and in the event that you or your guest(s) (including pets) cause damage to the building and/or contents, a cleaning, repair or replacement charge will be levied based on the degree of damage.
- We consider 5 or more rooms of guests traveling together to come under our Group Policy. Groups are charged a 30% non-refundable deposit 2 months before check-in date with the remaining 70% charged as a non-refundable deposit 2 weeks before check-in date.
