We expressly ask all
our national (Colombian) and foreign (of any origin) guests to scrupulously respect the current and future
international, national, regional and local rules in force at the time of your
reservation and presentation at the Chech-In of La Casa Azul La Garrucha
regarding the current epidemic of Covid 19.
Otherwise you will not
be accepted to stay at La Casa Azul La Garrucha.
Under no circumstances
will La Casa Azul La Garrucha be held responsible and no refund will be
accepted for any breach of the rules in force.
You are liable to
legal penalties and monetary fines in case of violation of the rules in force.
It is imperative to inquire before
booking. It is under your responsibility.
La
Casa Azul is a uniquely original, modern and welcoming bed and breakfast in one
of Antioquia’s most beautiful villages in Colombia.
The owners offer visitors 7 rooms overlooking the valley, while the
establishment’s materials combine harmoniously to offer optimal comfort and a
magnificent view of the Andes Mountains (Farallones del Citará and Cerro San
Nicolás).
La
Casa Azul is located at the base of the Garrucha cable car, just outside the
town center (5 min. walk), providing a peaceful atmosphere and a magnificent
view from its balconies (a large shared balcony where you can have a drink; two
bedrooms have private balconies) or from the rooftop terrace. Urban and
cosmopolitan, the interior and exterior have just been fully renovated. The
resolutely contemporary interior makes use of raw materials all the while
maintaining a warm atmosphere that carefully blends innovation and tradition.

This property has the following check-in and check-out times and policies:

Check-Out: 11:00 AM
Late Check-out Hour: 2:00 PM
Late Check-out Fees: $50,000.00
Late check-out (after 11:00 AM and before 2:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
Check-In: From 3H00 PM or before if room is available.

Check-Out: Until 11H00 AM or before 2H00 PM if the bedroom is available and previous demand may result with additional fee of $ 50.000.
Early check-in is possible, subject to availability of the rooms and possible additional cost.
It is possible to modify or cancel a reservation without fees by phone/WhatsApp at + 57 315.667.2631 or by emailcasaazulchb@gmail.com up to three (3)days before the date of arrival (local time).
If cancelled or modified later than 3 days before the date of arrival, or in case of no coming, the total price of the reservation will be charged. No refundsor date changes will be accepted.
Terms and Conditions
Price:
Prices will be billed in Colombian ($) Pesos. Euro and US Dollar conversions are shown only for information.The price of the rooms for 2 persons at la Casa Arul are charged in Colombian Pesos with VAT (19%) and local taxes not included. A VAT tax of 19% will be charged for Colombian residents and foreigners holding a Colombian ID or visa. Foreigners are exempted of the 19% VAT by law. Breakfast is included in the price of room per night. Other services (bar, drinks, laundry, transport, etc.) will be charged in Colombian pesos and are subject to a VAT tax at applicable rate and must be paid before the Check-Out.
The additional cost of the supplements are not taken into account when booking and must be paid at the time of arrival and Check-In.
Rooms:
We offer four types of room. All rooms are double. 4 Standard Queen double rooms, 1 Queen double Deluxe room, 1 Queen double Twin Deluxe room and 1 Queen double Twin VIP room. Only 2 rooms have in addition a sofa bed of 120x190cm to receive one more adult or 2 children. Please notify the administration at the time of booking to check availability and additional cost.
Additional child or adult:
We do not accept children less than 10 years old (10 years). We do not offer child bed. Only 2 rooms offer additional sofa bed of 120x190cm. Children under 16 must stay in their parents' room or with accompanying adults with legal authorization.
Children from more than 10 years and adults stay for $ 90.000 per person per night. (This price may change depending on the season,to be confirmed when booking).
The additional cost of the supplements are not taken into account when booking and must be paid at the time of arrival and Check-In.

Children:
Children accompanied by their parents are admitted. Children accompanied by adults who are not their parents may be admitted subject to a legal authorization from their parents. Without legal authorization of the parents for the children not accompanied by their parents these children and their accompanying persons will not be accepted and the establishment will collect the total amount of the reservation made.
Minors alone are not allowed.
Internet:
A free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and social places.
Parking:
The Caza Azul does not offer parking. On previous request and reservationand if available a parking place could be reserved closed to the Casa Azul and will be charged by the parking service owner directly.
Pets:
Because of Sanitary Regulations, we cannot allow pets in our home.
Payment cards:
We accept Visa and MasterCard cards.
We do not accept American Express or Diners Club cards.
We reserve the right to pre authorizes credit cards before the arrivaldate.
Deposit and prepayments:
The rest or totality depending on payment condition of the amount of the reservation and eventual additional cost is charged at the Check-In
Cancellations or modifications:
It is possible to modify or cancel a reservation without fees by phone/WhatsApp at + 57 315.667.2631 or by email casaazulchb@gmail.com up to three (3) days before the date of arrival (local time).
If cancelled or modified later than 3 days before the date of arrival (local time), or in case of no coming, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Right of admission:
Only duly registered guests are admitted. We reserve the right of admission. Access to rooms is reserved for guests who have made a reservation and Check-In. Tolerance from 06H00 AM to 20H00 PM, non client incoming persons (without reservation and without Check-In) coming with a guests who have made a reservation and check-In are only accepted upon approval of reception and have access only to common areas (reception, dining rooms, common balconies and terrace), not at bedrooms. They remain under the responsibility and full authority of the client “guardian” we do not accept liability and undertake to respect in every point the order and tranquility of the place, if not to be expelled without notice. La casa Azul does not accept any responsibility of any kind concerning the people not guests in the establishment.
Ethical Charter:
Combating the sexual exploitation of minors: Article 17 of Law 679 of 2001.Commercial sexual exploitation of minors (- 18 years) consists of the exploitation by an adult of a child girl or boy under 18 years of age, accompanied by a cash payment or any other means of payment to the child himself, girl or boy minor or to any other third party.
But for the peace of all, the calm and the common respect, we do not accept the prostitution of adult’s men or women; the Casa Azul is and must remain ameeting place of conviviality and joy.
Responsibility disclaimer:
The use of all the Casa Azul facilities is the exclusive responsibility of the guests.We disclaim any liability in the event of material or corporal damages or injuries. Likewise the personal properties of the guests are under their own responsibility and supervision, the Casa Azul does not accept responsibility in case of theft or loss. Safety boxes are available in the rooms and reception.
Privacy:
By booking a stay, our guests give prior authorization to store and process the personal data provided. Our guests can consult our data processing and security policies, in accordance with Law 1581 of 2012, by reaching us at the following email address: casaazulchb@gmail.com. (Spanish version)The Casa Azul will only use the personal data provided by our guests to manage the bookings and in order to provide the requested services.
The casa Azul will not communicate to third parties the personal data gathered through the reservation process, except if previously authorized by our guests or requested by Law or a service request. Reminder:Colombian law requires us to collect your data in a so-called «travel» register located at the reception and for foreigners to declare them in addition on the Website of the Colombian Ministry of Migration. Any person who refuses to avoid these legal obligations during the check-in for any reason would be refused access to the property without refund of his reservation in full.
Better life:
We invite you to use water and energy in a respectful manner. We invite you to manage your waste. We remind you that trafficking in natural and cultural property is a crime. Enjoy local food, culture and practices. The most as possible, buy products made locally and or from the region. Do not discriminate; remember that this is a criminal offence, Law 1482 of 2011. If you see any wrong doing with minors, report it to the authorities. Help us to protect andpreserve this place.
