Shepherd’s Run is a destination estate winery, resort, and event venue set on a picturesque thirty-six acres in bucolic Rhode Island. Our mission is to connect our guests and community to the culture, artisans, craft, and terroir of our unique region.
Your reservation is guaranteed until 10PM on the day of arrival. After that time, it will no longer be guaranteed and the room may be reassigned. We will charge your credit card within 5 days after we have confirmed your reservation. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the PRE-PAYMENT DEPOSIT. We will send you a cancellation confirmation via email immediately after cancelling your booking.
All rooms are cleaned and fresh linen and terry are provided prior to your arrival. A room refresh is completed after each consecutive three nights. Additional room cleaning and freshening, including daily housekeeping may be requested for an additional charge, if available. This additional service can be arrange by texting us or by contacting the hosts at the wine bar.
Standard Booking Price
The standard booking price includes the following:
-All taxes-Utilities (water, gas and electricity)
-Internet and TV usage
-Towels, and bed linens
-Cleaning before and after your stay (daily cleaning may be available upon request for an ala carte fee.)
When you make a reservation you are booking an accommodation type (not a specific accommodation). Each accommodation type includes similar accommodations of similar size and equipment, however, interior design and room layout can be different.
Reservations can only be taken and confirmed by making the advance deposit. This can be paid using debit and credit cards, bank transfer and PayPal (online). We will process your booking within 24 hours of receiving your request. Please note, your booking has not been made or verified until you receive a confirmation email from us.
Check-in at 4PM.
You can check-in any time from 4PM local time and you have received your four digit key code for your accommodation. The balance of the full rental amount is due prior to arrival at check-in time.
PLEASE NOTE that check-in cannot be completed until full payment for the accommodation has been received and approved.
An electronic key code is provided via SMS text and email on your date of arrival after the full rental amount has been settled.
Check-out at 11AM
You can check-out any time up until 11AM local time at which time your four digit key code will expire. Later check-out times may be requested although we may not always be able to accommodate late changes. This will depend on availability.
Please note that a more detailed inspection of the accommodation is usually made after the check-out time and we reserve the right to make charges for any damages or breakages found
before the accommodation is occupied again.
Extending Your Stay
After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay(depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive. If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay
longer, please let us know at least 24 hours before your check- out date. We will do our best to accommodate your new plans and this can include relocating you to a similar accommodation should this
Cancellation Policy for ”Standard rate”
Please carefully read our cancellation policy. We cannot make exceptions to this as we are a small intimate property which we do not overbook. Our team members are instructed to follow this policy and rules.
Cancellation Policy for “Non-refundable rate”
The total price of the reservation will be charged right away after booking and is non-refundable.
Our entire property and grounds are a smoke free facility. Smoking is not allowed anywhere within the premises. You will be charged a damage fee for any smoking in the accommodation.
Immediate termination of the rental agreement is possible if:
● More guests stay in the property than agreed.
● Excessive noise is made in the evening hours or at night.
● You sublet the property you have rented (or giving it to other people).
The number of people staying in the accommodation should be the same as confirmed in the booking. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if an unconfirmed number of people stay overnight in the accommodation.
● Shepherd's Run does not allow any pets in the accommodations (unless it is a pet-friendly room and a pet fee has been agreed upon). A $1,000 fee will be charged if pets are in the units without prior agreement and we reserve the right to cancel any reservation, without refund, if a pet is brought into the accommodation.
● All our guests are asked to respect the property and privacy of the other guests and to not make any excessive noise between the hours of 10:00PM and 08:00AM. Any late or loud partying is strictly prohibited.
Shepherd's Run is not responsible for lost or forgotten personal things at the premises.
During your stay, the accommodation, common areas, and all equipment and furniture should be treated with care and kept in order. Immediate notification to Shepherd's Run staff will be expected of any damages or breakages in the accommodation. You (The Tenant) are financially responsible for any damage to the accommodation. This includes losses caused by you (The Tenant) or a third party negligent actions and behavior. A detailed review of the condition of the accommodation and all equipment and facilities will be made soon after check-out and before another guest occupies the accommodation. The Tenant is responsible for any damages or breakages found that are over and above normal wear and tear and usage. In this case, a detailed statement of damage along with an invoice for the repair or replacement cost will be sent by email. A damage/incidentals deposit of $500 per accommodation will be authorized and not charged to your credit card, prior to check-in. Damage costs will be deducted from the deposit. Costs beyond the deposit or where the deposit has already been returned will be charged to your credit card or other mutually agreed upon means of payment can be arranged. Damage deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to damage inspection of the accommodation.
Entire accommodations ARE fully NON-smoking! A smoking fee will be charged if smoke is found in the accommodation after check-out.
