Terms and Conditions
Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort shall not be held responsible, by any guests for that matter, whose flights and/or transportation was delayed and/or cancelled due to fortuitous events, such as but not limited to typhoons, storms, earthquakes, wars, and fire. Further, Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort shall not be responsible for the same if such was due to causes beyond its control, such as but not limited to traffic, riots and political issues. Consequently, unused bookings shall not be refunded nor rebooked to another date since the same shall already be treated as used and consumed. Moreover, Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort shall not be responsible in providing additional accommodation and be held liable for the additional cost of transportation to guests who cannot reach Malapascua Island due to any cancellation of trips and/or closure of the ports (Old and New Maya Ports and nearby ports) going to the Island via public transportation. However, to those guests who booked the private transportation with Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort, the latter shall only be responsible as to the cost of the transfer in the event that such trip is cancelled and/or suspended due to any fortuitous event and/or causes beyond the control of men, as cordially advised by the Philippine Coast Guard Authority. Ocean Vida Beach and Dive Resort will not be held liable to any additional accommodations required due to the cancellation and/or suspension of trips due to said fortuitous events. Therefore, we highly recommend to our guests to secure a travel insurance to cover the cost of cancelled flights due to fortuitous and/or unforeseen events. Bearing in mind that these situations are beyond the control of the management, and therefore, should not be held accountable in relation thereof.
