The George, is one of the most successfully executed examples of late nineteenth century residential architecture. Commissioned in 1891 by George E. Goodman Sr., one of Napa’s most prominent businessmen, it is part of the National Register of Historic Places and subsequent National Parks Service Evaluation. Property and Cancelation Policies :
Due to the size of our business, we are very firm on our cancellations policy as the impact on our business is elevated.
- Standard individual booking not part of a group are fully refundable 14 days prior to check in. Any cancelations after that are non-refundable.
- Group booking: defined as, a group traveling together that book 4 or more rooms either individually or as a group - 60-day cancelation policy from check in date for 100% refund. Cancelation 59-30 days prior to check in date are subject to 50% refund. Any cancelations within last 29 days prior to check in are non-refundable.
- Full Buyout – may be subject to additional contractual agreement terms (call The George).
Note, we incur a 3% credit card processing fee on each reservation charge. Upon any portion of a refundable cancellation, this 3% fee will be non-refundable.

Check-in/Out Procedures
Check-In: 3:00pm - 6:00pm - for late check-in please contact us 24 hours prior to arrival to coordinate.
The day prior to check-in, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the property. This includes the access code for the front door and your guest room.

Booking Modifications
Any booking modifications requested after check-in are subject to availability and may be applicable to rate variations. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rate may be subject to change and a higher rate may apply. This applies to all rooms that have been reserved as part of a buyout booking.
Single-Night Reservations
We reserve the right to adjust single-night bookings to a room of equal or better value without prior notification. It is not guaranteed that you will be in the room originally booked.
Damages + Incidentals
The George has a minimum charge of $100 for any item(s) taken from the guest rooms (such as, but not limited to towels, robes, linens, bedding, furnishings, accessories, etc.).In addition, any damages incurred to all or part of the property caused by you (guest room or common area) which may affect the potential re-sell a room upon checkout will be subject to repair fees. It is understood that upon check-in you agree to such charges being taken upon check-out in covering such expense.
Quiet Hours
The George is located in a residential neighborhood, and as such, we have a strict policy of quiet hours between the hours of 10pm & 8am. Any violation of this policy may result in expulsion of the inn without refund.
Adult Atmosphere
To maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment for all guests, we kindly ask that all guests be 12 years of age or older. We understand that this may affect families traveling with younger children, and we encourage those guests to explore nearby family-friendly accommodations.
This policy allows us to ensure that our hotel remains a tranquil retreat, perfect for those seeking a quiet getaway, romantic escape, or serene space for all guests.
Group booking(s)
A group booking is when more than 3 rooms are booked by a group traveling together. Subject to various cancelation policies. All terms and conditions apply.

Housekeeping
Our housekeeping staff will be on site to do a daily refresh of the guest rooms and common areas. Any use of the common area or rooms that require a deep cleaning beyond this are subject to additional cleaning fees. Our show kitchen is not for guest use, under any circumstances. Any violation of this will be subject to a violation fee and potential expulsion from the inn.
Hotel Access + Occupancy Policy
For the privacy, comfort, and security of our guests, only persons registered with the hotel are permitted to access the property. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest or invitee of a guest event. To ensure we comply with building and permit codes, we have a strict max occupancy policy. We have a max occupancy of 2 guests per room (with the exception of rooms 301 and 303, which accommodate up to 3 guests). Any registered guest who allows any unauthorized individuals to occupy the property or their guest room will be in violation of our policy and be asked to leave/find other accommodations. This includes any undisclosed bridal parties, make-up artists, and photographers (please make prior arrangements with the hotel. as a site fee does apply). Violations are subject to fees.
Pets + Service Animals
We welcome service animals in compliance with federal, state and local laws, however pets are not permitted in the hotel. If you have a service animal, please contact us at 707-596-5168 so we can coordinate this into your stay.
Internet Policy
We offer Smart TVs in all of our guest rooms. Guests are welcome to log into their streaming platforms. Our TVs will automatically log you out of all streaming platforms after the TV is turned off. Even though we do what we can to ensure these get logged off, you are personally responsible for confirming your account is secure and logged off prior to check-out. We ask you not download any inappropriate and/or illegal content from the internet during your stay.
Social Media
Persons agreeing to give The George (the"Hotel") permission to use their image(s) in advertisements and on the Hotel's social media channels grant to the Hotel and its affiliates a nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, distribute and make full use of and derive benefit from the image(s). In doing so, those persons represent and warrant that: (i) they have the right to enter into this agreement and to give the rights so granted; (ii) the image(s) is(are) original; and (iii) the use by the Hotel of the image(s) in advertisements or on the Hotel's social media channels will not violate the rights of any third-party.

Tiktok, and Instagram (collectively, "Social Media Assets") to communicate and interact with our guest. By posting or submitting content to these Social Media Assets, you represent and warrant that you have the lawful right to transmit, distribute and reproduce such content. To the extent submitted content contains images, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the copyright owner or have obtained the copyright owner's permission to use such images; (b) you hold the rights necessary to grant the licenses and sublicenses described in these Terms and Conditions; and (c) you have obtained the consent of each person, if any, depicted in such images.
Security
For the safety and security of our guests and employees, please be advised that common areas within the property, such as hallways, stairwells, and common use spaces, as well as exterior areas of the property, are monitored by surveillance cameras. This measure is in place to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone on our property. Please note that the interiors of guest rooms are not monitored, and we do not have any smart devices in guest rooms to ensure the privacy of all guests.
