Casa do Ribeirinho is a local accommodation, registered in the National Tourism Registry of Portugal with the number 76400 / AL. The house was built in 1967, having recently been restored to provide a unique accommodation experience, due to its privileged conditions and location. We are located in the historic center of Amarante, opposite the river and the monastery of S. Gonçalo, steps from most of the best restaurants and bars in the city, the forest park, the municipal pool, the market and the Amadeo de Sousa Cardoso museum . The house has available to its guests, in addition to their respective accommodations, several common areas, namely, TV room with fireplace, dining rooms, fully equipped kitchen, outside porches with tables and sofas, swimming pool, large gardens with grass and shade, bar, barbecue, outdoor wood stove, and other shared facilities.
We can provide you with an adventure component, guiding you through fantastic trails in our Marão mountain range, with very high levels of beauty and a level of difficulty suited to your desire. Through our partners we can also provide experiences aimed at leisure, culture and adventure, with guided tours through the history, artists and traditions of the city, and by all-terrain car to the megalithic monuments of the Aboboreira mountain range and the magnificent landscapes of the Marão mountain range.
From our house you can find trails along the river with several kilometers of landscapes of great beauty, especially for those who enjoy walking or running surrounded by nature. At 600 meters from the house is the tâmega eco-trail, an old train line that has been refurbished to allow hikers or bikers to travel the 40 km between Amarante and Arco do Baúlhe.

Late Check-out Hour: 6:00 PM
Late Check-out Fees: €35.00
Late check-out (after 12:00 PM and before 6:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
A prepayment of 10% is required to confirm the reservation and secure the accommodation. The booking will not be confirmed until this prepayment is received. The prepayment will be refunded in case of a cancelation 15 days or more before arrival.
The final amount will be paid 7 days before arrival. After this date the booking is considered not refundable.

Certain short reservations may carry a final cleaning supplement.

Upon receiving the latter payment, instructions will be sent that will include the details of check-in and contact form with our team.
It is mandatory to meet house rules.
Check-in is from 15:00 and 20:00. Check-out is by 12:00. Not respecting these schedules may incur an extra cost.
Once the accommodation has been booked, no change of ownership may be made, without incurring any expenses.
All accommodation units are equipped with a basic supply (toilet paper, towels, soap, shampoo and linen).
The house is not prepared to accommodate people with reduced mobility. It is necessary to climb stairs to access the rooms and outside space.
We have private a parking space with 5 slots. It is not possible to reserve parking slots in advance.
