Front Desk and Emergency Policy

  • The front desk operates between the hours of 9 AM and 9PM. The front desk is closed all other times. If during quiet hours when the front desk is closed, between 9PM and 9AM there is excessive noise, or any other behavior that does not create a danger of harm to any person, the Hotel building or personal property, bring the matter to the staff’s attention at 9AM the next day when the front desk reopens, because staff needs sleep no less than you do. If however you observe or smell smoke, fire, a flood or anything or anyone that threatens to injure a person, the Hotel or damage private property call the police or the fire department at telephone number 911.
Reservation and Check-in Policy
  • A Pre-Payment Deposit confirms your reservation AKA booking, and we will immediately charge your credit card (or other payment method) the full amount of your Pre-Payment Deposit, and send a confirmation email to you. Please contact us if you do not receive an email confirming your reservation and Pre-Payment Deposit.
  • "Check-in Time” is 3 PM New York City time on your “Day of Arrival” (unless you have an email confirmation from our staff of a different Check-in Time). Your Day of Arrival is the first date of your reservation, the day on which your stay with us is set to begin. Your reservation is guaranteed until Check-in Time on your Day of Arrival. Check-in confirms your reservation, and we will immediately charge your credit card (or other payment method) the full amount of your reservation less any amount prepaid, the Pre-Payment Deposit. 
  • If you do not check in at your Check-in Time on your Day of Arrival (11 AM New York City time on your Day of Arrival, or a later Check-in Time confirmed by email from our staff),  your booking will no longer be guaranteed and the room reserved by you may be reassigned to another guest. 
  • Regardless of how much of your reservation was prepaid by Pre-Payment Deposit, if you are not checked-in we will charge your credit card for only a one day stay; the amount charged for the one day stay will be that of the prevailing daily rate for the room you had booked on your scheduled Day of Arrival irrespective of the rate you would have paid had you checked-in. The hotel has the right to cancel your reservation if we do not receive the agreed to Pre-Payment Deposit. If we cancel your booking, we will confirm cancellation by email.
  • A valid photo ID is required upon check-in for anyone who will be staying in the room. 
  • All requests to reserve a room must include the first and last name, the home address, and contact information for all guests who will be occupying the room and a valid credit card for a guarantee of arrival.
  • All requests to reserve a room must include a signed check in form found on our website. 
  • Room rates are always subject to change without notice.
  • All rooms are subject to a 5% hotel occupancy tax and a 6.625% sales tax collected by the State of New Jersey.  
  • When booking, maximum occupancy is two people for  a standard room. Additional guests are $20 each max for rooms with a single bed (Double) or a bunk bed ( two twin size mattresses, stacked). Additional guests are $30 each four, six, or eight people max for “Family Rooms” with multiple beds. 
  • Check in sheet is required to be completely filled out including annual income statement 
Check-out Policy

  • You can check-out any time up until 11AM New York City time. You may request a later check-out at least two hours in advance. Late check-out can be no later than 1PM New York City time; we may not always be able to accommodate a late checkout, depending on availability and how busy our housekeeping staff is.
  • At check-out time please surrender the room keys to any staff member at the front desk, located on the ground floor. Note that a detailed inspection of the room is made at check-out; we reserve the right to charge for any damage or missing or damaged fixtures, furniture, linen or towels. Please leave linen and towels in the room, they are NOT gifts and you will be charged for anything missing. 

Cancellation Policy
  • Regardless of how much your Pre-Payment Deposit is, if you cancel before your stay is set to begin, we will charge your credit card for only a one day stay, and refund the rest; the amount charged for the one day stay will be that of the prevailing daily rate for the room you had booked on the day you cancel your booking irrespective of the daily rate you paid for the booking. There are no refunds, and you will forfeit the entire  Pre-Payment Deposit if you cancel anytime after your stay was set to begin.

No Smoke and No Fire Policy.
  • This  is a non-smoking, no fire property because smoking is illegal and smoke or fire will set of our central fire alarm system. Please refrain from lighting any kind of fire in the rooms. SMOKING, CANDLES, INCENSE etc.WILL ACTIVATE OUR FIRE ALARM SYSTEM AND SUMMON THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, SIRENS BLAZING. This applies to tobacco, marijuana, or the consumption of any other substance that may be inhaled both via traditional smoking methods and by ANY electronic delivery systems that either uses flame or produces smoke or vapor. This includes lighting candles or burning incense. Any smoking or fire in the rooms or strong lingering smells from smoke, burning or vaping in rooms will result in your stay being immediately terminated with no refund - you will be asked to leave immediately - a disappointed look from our staff, and a $225 fire alarm contractor’s post fire alarm visit fee plus anti-smoke room cleaning fee.

Booking Price Policy
  • The booking price includes: all taxes, utilities, Wifi, use of towels and bed linen, cleaning after your stay (daily cleaning is available upon request).Note: When you make a reservation, you book a room type, not a specific room. Each room type includes similar rooms of similar size and furniture, fixtures, equipment, and linen, however, interior configuration and design may differ.  Extending Your Stay  After you have booked your stay with us, you can extend your stay (depending on availability) by simply letting us know before you arrive.
  • If you are already staying with us and you would like to stay longer, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you; extending may necessitate relocating you to a different room.

Child Policy
  • Each of our rooms is designated for a maximum number of guests included in the daily rate. Children are considered guests. Additional guests - including children - are $20 per guest.

Pet Policy
  • Pets are not allowed, except domestic cats with a cat fee of $20 per cat, per day. We also charge a $100 per cat deposit fee at check-in. We do not provide kitty litter or tray, drinking bowl or any other cat equipment.
  • Should your cat have a vomit, poo, pee or other accident in the room, we will charge a $50 cleaning fee. Should your pet cause visible damage, you will be charged market value to repair it. We will refund your deposit(s) upon check-out, less any damage or cleaning fees.

Damage Policy
  • You broke it, you bought it; you will be charged for property damage or missing items at market replacement value, what it costs to replace the item you broke with a new unused item. Pre-existing damage or room issues must be reported to the front desk immediately after registration to avoid responsibility and potential charges. The hotel does not allow guests to receive occasional packages and special deliveries at the property. We are not responsible for any packages or deliveries or for storage.

Quiet Hours Policy 
  • Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 9:00AM noise guests may have their stay terminated.

Cooking Policy
  • Kitchen facilities are not provided. There is no cooking on the premises

Garbage Policy
  • To discourage pests, please refrain from bringing food to your room. Please discard everything edible from the trash cans and your room nightly, into the garbage area in the alleyway. 

Personal Possessions Policy
  • We are not responsible for personal possessions that become lost, broken, damaged or stolen while on Hotel property, and do not provide room safes or safe deposit boxes; you bring personal possessions into the Hotel at your own risk.

Storage Policy
  • We charge a storage fee of $20 per day per bag or item.
  • We are not responsible for personal possessions that become lost, broken, damaged or stolen while on Hotel property and do not provide room safes or safe deposit boxes; you bring personal possessions into the Hotel at your own risk. 

Parking Policy

  • We do not offer parking. There is ample metered street parking and a paid parking lot on the same block. There is also a municipal parking garage one block away.

Room Cleaning Policy
  • Room refreshes will not be offered during stays shorter than one week. For longer stays, a complete room cleaning will be provided once each week. Please schedule the cleaning and linen change when convenient for you between 10AM and 6PM daily.  Should you need fresh towels or linen, please let the front desk know between 9 AM and 9 PM.  

Firearms Policy
  • Except law enforcement officers and designated military personnel, who are on-duty and required to carry firearms in the performance of their duties, firearms are not permitted on Hotel property.
Guest Safety-Video Recording Policy

  • Video cameras are used throughout public areas of the Hotel property, and anyone in the common areas of the Hotel property may be recorded at any time.
