Our Story:
In 1978 our father, James V. Fazio, Jr., while still involved in numerous enterprises, co-founded the first of several J. Copperfield Ltd. restaurants in the greater Hartford area. With his brother joining as an executive and the sons helping out at various times, the family business expanded while financing their respective properties. In the years since, we've added this lodging facility and over 20 residential properties in San Diego. We now have decades of experience as hotel owner operators, having franchised with Howard Johnson and Super 8 by Wyndham, and have gained a unique appreciation and respect for the hospitality industry. However, with a continued escalation of fees, unfavorable contracts, and other restrictions, the franchise model no longer made sense for us. Launching HomeSpring in 2020 allowed us the freedom to fine-tune and better-control our own vision of economy extended stay lodging. We sincerely hope you enjoy our offering of value and convenience.
