We are a small family run Hostel, born and raised in Fairbanks.
Billie's is a wonderfully warm, welcoming and accommodating place, with the sole focus of providing travelers with an affordable place to stay while on their Alaska adventure.
It would be difficult to find a more comfortable, personal, friendly hostel anywhere in Alaska.

Billie offers the traveler a couple of sleeping options, including shared dorm style rooms and private rooms.
Shared rooms have 4 beds to each room (bunks).
Gazebo (summer only) sleeps 6
Private rooms include Art's Room with1 queen bed, Tom's Room with 2 twin beds, and Barry's Room with 1 single bed.
Limited tent space is also available. Inquire with Billie directly for tents.

Late check-out (after 11:00 AM and before 10:00 PM) may result in a fee.
Property and Cancelation Policies :
For example, if you are arriving on July 4, you would need to cancel by the end of the day on July 1st to avoid any charges.
There is a FULL charge of the entire reservation if the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of your DAY of arrival.
Unfortunately, this system will allow you to make a reservation but in order to cancel or modify a reservation you will need to send me a direct message.
If you reserved on AlaskaHostel.com, then please send your cancellation via an email request and you will receive a confirmation of your cancellation.
If you reserved using a different method (i.e., AIRBNB, Booking.com, Hostelworld) then you must cancel using the same platform.
You must have that confirmation for your cancellation to be valid. You may call Billie, but you will be asked to verify the cancellation
thru an email request so that we have a record of it.
Terms and Conditions
Thank you for your reservation! I look forward to meeting you here in Fairbanks. Please take a moment to read the following:
- This is a small private HOSTEL not a hotel. As such. ALL spaces (except private rooms) are shared with other travelers. That includes bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- A VALID credit card is required for every reservation. Your credit card will be charged up to 2 days prior to your arrival date (at which time it becomes nonrefundable). Any cards not approved, (invalid, wrong information, Non-Sufficient Funds, declined card, etc...) will result in a canceled reservation without prior notice.
- If you are arriving Late (after 7pm), then you will receive "Late Check-In Instructions" prior to your arrival. Please, if you are arriving late, then let me know.
- While you may arrive anytime you wish, if you are arriving between Midnight and 10am please MAKE SURE your reservation date includes the PREVIOUS day, or your space will NOT be available until 10am on your day of arrival.
EXAMPLE: If you are arriving at 01:00 on July 4th, then your reservation MUST also include July 3rd. Otherwise, you are welcome to arrive any time after 10:00 on July 4. - If this is a reservation for a group of 5 or more, please cancel this reservation and contact me directly about your group arrangements and I will do her very best to accommodate you.
- I do NOT accept reservations for third parties. In making this reservation, you agree that you are intending to check-in as part of the reservation.
- Our dorm rooms have bunk beds in each room. Top bunks require climbing the bed steps. Bottom beds are on a first come first serve availability. If it is difficult for you to climb to or sleep in a top bunk, please send me an email after making your reservation and I will make a note of your request and do my best to accommodate you.
- By reserving a dorm room, you understand you may be assigned to a top bunk and that sleeping in a top bunk there is an inherent risk involved in climbing or sleeping in a top bunk.
- Finally, because the hostel is also my home and residence, and all spaces are shared, it is not a suitable place for pets or animals of any kind. If you have questions, please contact me directly. I do have a small pug dog so if you are not comfortable with dogs, then this may not be the place for you.
